Gisela Munne's Online Review Report Card

She was my primary. I need to go see her again but she's a great doctor! She's very down to earth. Very thorough!

It took a ton of research to find a new GP and I was so happy to find Dr. Munne. She is knowledgeable, practical, and very understanding. If the review was based on her as a doctor alone, it would easily be 5 stars. But my experience with her front office has been less than ideal. Three specific mishaps to share: 1. There was a ton of time spent verifying my insurance before they would let me book my appointment, which was appreciated. But then the day of my appointment, I had to wait 1.5 hrs to be seen because they had to do additional verification. 2. I asked whether or not I needed to fast for my blood work and was told “no.” This ended up not being true, requiring me to go back for bloodwork after waiting nearly 2 hours to be seen for a standard physical. 3. They didn’t include my insurance information when they submitted my bloodwork to the lab, so I received a bill for nearly $700. Thankfully the folks at Quest were able to take my insurance information over the phone, but they confirmed that this is information typically provided by the doctor’s office and that they didn’t understand why it wouldn’t have been sent with my sample in the first place. To be clear: everyone in her office is very kind (I didn’t encounter a single rude person). But that doesn’t make the time wasted over preventable mistakes any less frustrating.

Dr. Munne one of the best professionals, my experience has always been the best, she is so warm with her patients, when I see her is like seeing a good friend..

I love Dr. Munne I've been going to her for over 20 years. She is professional, open and listens to what you have to say. She has excellent bed side manners and is very concerned. Dr. Munne does not try to rush you out of the office she exams you very good and if there is a problem she will address it by medication or send you to a specialist or set up an X-ray etc. One day I was in the office talking to her and I just started crying I was dealing with so much in my life she asked me if she could give me a hug to comfort me. We talked and I told her everything and she gave me some advice and told me she wanted me to talk to someone to help me get through my problems. If it was not for her I don't know what would have happened to me. It take great doctors like her that cares. She is the very best DR.

Dr. Munne and her staff are very professional and courteous. What I love about Dr. Munne is that she takes the time to answer your questions so that you can be actively involved in your healthcare. The wait time to be seen for your appointment is minimal, and their waiting area is clean and spacious. Dr. Munne and her competent staff are awesome!
