List of Kenneth Garay's Reviews
Professional and helpful. Got right to the source of the problem quickly.
Doctor Garay is straight forward and friendly. My visits are usually quick and pleasant. I was very satisfied with my septoplasty with him - Dr Garay was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend him to others
I was very impressed by the lack of interest shown by the doctor. I was going to consult you for something very simple (Halitosis, bad mouth breath). He looked at my mouth for a few seconds (it must not have been 5 seconds) and he told me that he couldn't help me. I asked him then who (my PCP doctor recommended that I be an otolaryngologist and he is an otolaryngologist) and he shrugged and replied "I DON'T KNOW".
👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼nothing but a waste of my time
I visited Dr. Kenneth Garay office today . I have really bad experience with this doctor office . I took day off and drove 20miles to get his office but I was provided wrong appointment date . Secretary was saying I have appointment 12/27/21 instead of 12/21/21 .Secretary name is Emily Lopez and she has really bad mouth .She was very rude to me and she was very unprofessional. I Paid $7.00 parking , $10.00 toll , took day off , drove 40 miles and received really bad service . I will not recommend anyone to visit this doctor office , stay away from the office 377 jersey ave ste 220 , jersey city , 07302 .
Went to see him yesterday because of muffled hearing in one ear also episodes of lightheadedness and dizziness. My primary care sent me to see an ent. He’s the only doctor that has an availability within the next 2 weeks so I booked him. I told him what I have been feeling for the past weeks. He said by looking at you, I know you don’t have an ear infection. He didn’t even check my ears, nose, or throat. He asked me to stand up and to close my eyes, that’s all he did. He said he’ll send me for a hearing test.. and to wait outside for the paper. I went outside, told the assistant that I’m waiting for the paper for the hearing test. After an hour waiting, the assistant said that the doctor hasn’t put in the request yet. She said she’ll just call me once he put in the request. The day ended, called the office twice, they said no request yet. I called them today, the assistant said the doctor didn’t put a request or note. Apparently, he is on a vacation now for 2 weeks. This is the worst experience ever. Doctor Garay doesn’t even care about the patients. He should retire if he can no longer do his job. Will never see him again! The associates at jcmc are so nice on the other hand.
My smell/taste has been off since I had COVID so I went to see Dr. Garay. His office said I was late for my 10:30am appt when I had it in my calendar for 10:30am and they said it was 10am. He seemed annoyed when I came in and I told him my symptoms. He quickly (maybe 5 seconds) looked inside my nose and said its COVID he can't explain why I lost my taste and I have some inflammation. Then I am charged for an office visit + endoscopy for a 5-second look through and I was out in 5 minutes. He barely cared and talked to me and I didn't know I would be charged $600 for him to tell me I have no taste because of COVID. His office seems like a mess and he just seemed annoyed, I do have a high-deductible plan but this is absurd. They had it down as a surgery when he looked in my nose for barely a second.

DR Garay barely did anything. Than ordered the wrong MRI which has nothing to do with my neck. I have contacted the office 3days ago since I'm in a lot of pain. I cannot chew or talk and my ears are killing me and I'm still waiting on them to fix my referral. Terrible service.
Terrible experience. Teen son was sent to ER by PCP to have ear drained, his ear became infected on the outside in cartalige area after a piercing. On advice from Dr. Garay at the ER (Dr. Garay never saw him in the ER) but told the ER doctor it was a "non emergency" emergency and to see Dr. Garay in morning at his office. Next morning as soon as we walked in the office the staff was rude, shaking their head no that we needed an appointment as I was showing them the paperwork from the ER. Finally they said they would ask. Saw Dr. Garay and he told me not to be rude to his staff!! Then was rude to my son. We got out of there and saw someone else, my son had a bad infection and ended up an inpatient at Hackensack Hospital for 3 days. They did a great job there!! So glad we got out of there when we did!! Do not recommend Dr. Garay!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
