the doctors good it’s just the staff they never answer the phone they sit right there and let the phone ring and have you on hold forever never come back to answer

I called the office in Jersey City 35 times no one answered the phone..I called union city office 13 times I got music put on hold or 13 times.. I called West New York I got transferred to the voicemail… I called North Bergen I got an answer from Ms. Gabriella who did her best to try to assist me…I thank her and I appreciate her.I decided to go to Jersey City and pick up my records because I will no longer go to that office nor would I ever see Dr. richard again I will choose another doctor that has staff what class, The manager of the office is just as bad she didn’t even acknowledge nor did she even care what was going on so I will take my business somewhere else add to a Doctor Who really cares about his patients… this ain’t only the first time…I stopped going there in the past for that reason .. but I see nothing has ever changed so I will pick up all my records and they will never have to worry about me in that office again.. I will keep posting every single day and given a one star every single day for that poor service at 550 Newark Ave. in Jersey City the service is horrible.. dr. Richard your staff really has to go the service is very poor that whole front desk and Cindy ignores all the calls because she eats at the front desk…

Dr Richard is a wonderful cardiologist who saved the lives of my parents on several occasions. He cares deeply about his patients and goes above and beyond to offer the best care possible. I would highly recommend Dr Richard to anyone.

Me and my family have been going to Dr. Richard's practice for the past 5 years. He is patient, understanding, and professional, and I look forward to my appointments with him. He makes sure that I understand everything, and I feel very welcomed by his staff and front desk. I highly recommend his practice!

Everything falls on Dr.Richard because of his staff… on 8/19/21 i called the Jersey city office 35 times no one answered I called union city office 13 times they kept putting me on hold not saying a word I called w.New York straight to voicemail I called north Bergen and Gabriella helped me I asked about my results getting sent over the the surgery doctor but of course Jersey city place is horrible…

I and my wife have been patients of Dr. Richard for at least 15 years. His bedside manner is so reassuring and he is always very professional .He always makes sure that the tests that are needed are given on a timely basis. I am 78 years old. in 2017 my stress test revealed some significant blockages. Dr Richard performed an angiogram and placed a stint in an artery next to my heart. in 2021 another stress test revealed significant blocks in 3 arteries next to my heart. After an angiogram revealed the blockages were to significant for any chance of inserting more stints. The Doctor alerted his surgical team on a Wednesday. That Friday I was operated on at Englewood Hospital. I had a triple bypass and an ablation performed. I went home 5 days later. The Doctor and his team were fantastic. There is no doubt that they saved my life. In addition his Office staff and office Manager Cindy Bermudas are very professional and helpful.

My father past away on November 11, 2019 he was under the care of Dr. RICHARD since July we needed him to electronically sign death certificate called office more than 6 times with no response on the day of the burial still no signature of death certificate causing an increased stress on the family . As per funeral director could not proceed with funeral until certificate was signed . On the morning of funeral finally after many attempts was able to contact Dr.Richard not only was he unprofessional and rude on the phone insisting he was never called to sign when the law says the death certificate is signed online electronically to the point where the funeral director had to speak to him and explain the deceased can not be buried until he signs certificate and still continued to argue on the phone no compassion or consideration from this doctor . I would never recommend him to anyone very inconsiderate and added an Immense amount of stress on the day of my father’s funeral.

Don’t waste your time and money here. The staff are very unprofessional, so is The Dr.; I went to an appointment back in December and the Dr. was out in vacation. A technician had to take care of me, then I went back on January for a follow up and the staff had no clue what they were supposed to do with me. I suggested that maybe they had to draw blood to check my cholesterol; They had me fasting until the afternoon which then I later learned that this throws your readings sky high, I mean really? What kind of a Dr. office does this? Then I received a bill over a thousand dollars high. I called the billing department, they suggested I should call the office in Union City, I call Union City office and they would not take PAYMENTS over the phone!! Really? Can they just create a website? or simply write down the number and give a simple confirmation number? Like I said, you'll have a Heart Attack with the experience you'll receive at this location. Dr Richard is amazing, but the guy that does the stress tests is very impersonal , I think he get paid for hours because is so slow. If I never come back here for stress tests .
