22 years ago I was pregnant with my first child. One day, in the eighth month, I felt something was very wrong. I left work that morning from Manhattan and simply showed up at Bimontes office. I said the baby isn’t moving. He took the heartbeat and said “ towards the end of a pregnancy the babies movement slow down. You’ve never been pregnant before so how would you know what it feels like toward the end of a pregnancy?“ How condescending can a Dr. be To a nervous about to be new mother? He then told me to go home and get some lunch, and then eventually make your way over to the ER they will be expecting you. I did that reluctantly and two hours later I delivered a stillborn dead child, my son Anthony. Dr. bimonte performed the emergency cesarean. I will never forgive him for not trusting a mother‘s instinct whether she was a new mother or not. I chose not to sue him because what would I ever do with that kind of blood money. Stay away from this doctor he’s got a God complex.

The reception, Maria Rieve, at Dr Bimonte's office needs to be fired. She just made a pregnant woman cry. No people skills! She's a nurse for Christ sake! Unprofessional. We are switching doctors. Goes to show that a bad nurse can ruin a good doctor.

although he is no longer my Dr not by choice he is the best.

I had a great pregnancy with my daughter; there were no issues. I went for my scheduled sonograms and everything was fine. About a week and a half before my due date Dr. Bimonte told me that he wanted to induce labor because my baby might be SGA (small for her gestational age). This issue was never mentioned before as previous tests revealed that the baby was healthy, so naturally I became worried. I believe this was actually a lie because I found out that the doctor was going on vacation, and that is the real reason he wanted to "get my baby out." My daughter, by the way, was a large baby for her age weighing nearly nine pounds. Her pediatrician even commented on how big she was. How could the doctor have been so wrong? Does he know how panicked I felt? Today, my daughter is 4 yrs.old and she is beautifully healthy, wearing a size 10!She is actually really tall for her age.

Being new to the area and needed all new doctors, Dr. Bimonte was recommended to me from a neighbor. I have been under his care for almost three years now. He helped me through two high risk pregnancies. Dr. Bimonte is the kind of doctor you want taking care of you. He is thorough and kind. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and discusses options available to you. He always errs on the side of caution. I would give him the highest recommendation to anyone who was looking for a doctor. His practice is now over at Jersey City Medical Center where he is the Chair of OB/GYN Department. Rather then find a new local doctor in my town which would be more convenient, I travel to Jersey City to see him.

In my opinion the best doctor, I had my 2 childre with him via c-section and no complaints. you can't even see the scars. He returned all my calls personally while pregnant or not. very pleasant, polite, I wouldn't change this doctor.

Dr Bimonte and his staff "Debbie" are the best doctors I ever dealt with. He is so caring and takes his time with you. Debbie his office Manger always has a smile and is always willing to help and answer questions. The doctor takes his time and will not leave the room until he is sure he answered all your questions. I tell every one to use him. Wish he was a general practice. Love him he gets 10+ starts

Very Comforting, but please do not use him if you are pregnant. I lost my baby boy because he is the only doctor in the practice and he was not available to speak to me that day. He is affliated with Meadowlands hospital. PLEASE DO NOT EVER GO TO THEIR ER. UNDER STAFFED, NASTY!!!

Dr. Bimonte has such a calm and friendly demeanor, and is completely knowledgeable. I'd recommend anyone to him!

Yeah, he's got a great bedside manner. He's a nice older gentleman and makes you feel very comfortable. He also failed to see an obvious lesion on my cervix, claiming it was harmless, when another doctor instantly noticed and told me I needed surgery. Dr. Bimonte told me it was a benign polyp. It was advanced cervical dysplasia that will become cancer without treatment. Thanks, doc.
