List of Musaid Khan's Reviews
I’ve been visiting Dr. Khan for years and it is always an excellent experience!
I called in September for an appointment after primary care gave me a neurology referral. Receptionist gave me a date of 11/29. She asked if I wanted the appointment even though it was months away. I said yes please. She mentioned Dr. Khan would be in his new office at 2 Journal Square plaza by the time of my appointment. Said thank you and goodbyes. The Day before the appointment I was wondering why I didn’t get a reminder call. The Day of the appointment I called to verify and they said they didn’t have me in the new system. I then spoke to original receptionist who checked their computer from the previous office and she said I’m not in the system, then she proceeded to gaslight me and tell me if I had made the appointment I would be in the system. Just horrible. I could have scheduled with another neurologist in the time that I waited. I called them for a week and a half before I was even able to get that appointment that they lost. Nobody picked up. I left messages with every call. Nobody called back. I felt lucky and grateful when I finally got through and was able to schedule. Then staff lost the appointment during their move to the new office. Avoid if you want an office that actually cares about their patients.
Dr. Khan is not very informative, not engaging. Treated my mother more like a number and what he's going to get from Medicare. Not sure why he would provide medication before getting blood results. Even with the blood results and MRI, he increased my mother's medication with any explanation. Not recommended. See another neurologist if you have medicare.
I am going to Dr Khan from last 10 years. Very professional, full of knowledge, gives you time, doesn’t rush at all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
My mom and I went to visit Dr. Khan because my mom is having very frequent memory issues, and we wanted it to be addressed to see if it's serious and something to worry about. Dr. Khan didn't take our visit and my mom's health seriously. His advice is to eat almonds and start doing crossword puzzles for memory. My mom had a MRI scan a few years back that showed signs of atrophy, and he even acknowledged that in the visit. But no follow up scans or appointments necessary I guess. The visit lasted not even 10 minutes after waiting for 2 hours in the waiting room, which is not ventilated or air circulated for the Covid situation. Got paid 2 times from us, $40 out of pocket and my mom's insurance all for to eat almonds, do crossword puzzles, and 10 minutes of face to face time. Not a bad day's work doc!
I’m giving one star as there is no option for zero. I called in to get an appointment as this doctor came first in my Google search list. The lady I spoke with was super rude, she was giving me appointment after a month which I was ok with. Then she asked me to look forward another doctor as I was in pain. I said let me get an appointment meanwhile even if it’s after a month. And I will call back to cancel if I can’t make it. The lady goes Iike everyone says that they will call to cancel and no one calls. And started argument.. Don’t know why she has so much attitude. I’m not going to see this doctor until they have staff who respect their patients.
Not a good nor very bad experience but can’t get through to live person and can’t leave a message because the voicemail is always full which is not professional at all I’ve noticed that all the better reviews were from years ago and the not so good ones are from recently so maybe the office staff has changed but in any event not being able get through the whole day signifies someone is not working and for a specialist that’s not good at all!
Dr.Khan is a really nice neologist, he is an expert on what he is doing, his secretaries are very nice, whenever I go see them they make me feel at home and they take good care of me. Now I’m fine , I don’t have any signs of seizures,I think him so much ! Steevenson Charles
I have been trying to get in touch with the office for a week because I need my prescription. Every time I call only get the voicemail, but I can't leave a message because the voicemail is full. What a doctor office. I have ran out of my medication and I can't get in touch with the doctor office

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
