Impossible to get in touch with the office-super frustrating

I have been referred to Dr. Paul Weissman by another colleague. I found Dr.Paul S Weissman exceptional in his interview and examination. I was extremely upset at the time because I was not getting any better, and I had the feeling I was never going to feel better again. I am so pleased I found a physician that said he would get to the bottom of what is causing me this problem. I am very grateful to have met such a bright and kind individual. He was so nice and so knowleadgable I could not believe it. I took my two little kids with me, he was so great with themselves. Gave the big one some “snap on arteries” to play with:). Highly recommend.

I had a colonoscopy procedure with Dr. Weissman. I was scared at first but he is a proffesional and the procedure was smooth and no complications after. He is attentive and well versed in his work. I recommend him to anyone facing issues with their bowels.

Tried to schedule an appointment only to find out that they are not taking anything Aetna related. I am here on an expat insurance that is in the Aetna network and they won't take me even after offering to pay all expenses out of pocket. I am sure another GI will be happy to take me.

We were surprised how detailed, attentive and thorough he was with my mother. He discussed preventive measures and explanation of variety treatments for her condition. Very good side bed manners.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Weissman, and highly recommend him if you have stomach issues and/or need to have a procedure done! He is very thorough, personable, and good at what he does.

Regarding the one-star raters, office did for a brief time have phone system issues but no longer. Dr W is someone I was "forced" to see since it was within my insurance network (HMO/ACA) and I couldn't see my NYC docs (who have my history for yrs). Yet he has proven to be just as professional and generous (even more so!) with his patients and def goes the extra mile, that I will probably keep him even if I upgrade to a better "cadillac" plan (new job, PPO) in the future. A rare find these days!

Doctor was attentive, understood my problem, clearly explained proposed treatment.

The doctor is great, very helpful however getting to reschedule or cancel the appointment is a pain. Nobody answers phones there so you have to make a trip there in person. Don't expect any explanation or apologies for the hassle either.
