excellent attention and cordiality during my hip replacement

I couldn't walk without a walker or 2 canes short distances Dr. Yoon found my problems 2 new hips it all went will I'm standing tall and walking again very little pain I need alittle more work done and yoon is the man thank you doctor yoon and staff I'm very comfortable around everyone

his staff is rude, "Janice" needs training in customer service, you dont hang up on clients when things dont go your way !!

Dr Yoon performed knee replacement surgery for my husband on March 15, 2021. Things went well at first but my husband’s condition has rapidly deteriorated over the past 6-8 weeks. We have attempted to get an appointment to see the doctor several times but either he is too busy to follow up with us or his office staff is very disorganized. For some reason, We were referred to a hematologist and went for the appointment today. The hematologist had no idea why we were there. The radiologist who we were also scheduled to see today “had the day off.” Follow up care from this bunch is just about non-existent. My husband’s knee looks like a football and is horribly painful. This is a very physically fit man who now needs 2 canes to walk with and can hardly move. I am sure our Medicare payments were accepted though. Awful experience and if there was a negative star rating that’s what they’d get from me.

I was very fortunate that Dr. Yoon was “on call” when I fell at home and arrived at the Emergency Room at RWJ St. Barnabas. I was devastated to find out that I had a fractured hip and needed surgery and was anxious and unhappy and 84 years old. I can tell you that Dr. Yoon is not just a skilled surgeon, he’s a gentleman with such a pleasant and friendly disposition. Always smiling, never rushing you through your visits and always available for questions and concerns. I have been under Dr. Yoon’s care for the past 9 mos post-op. I have experienced great success in recovering with Dr. Yoon’s care. I feel amazing and I’m very happy. I am also grateful for the medical care and concerns by Dr. Yoon's PA, Deborah Rothenberg, as well as his competent and courteous office staff. Thank you, one and all!! C.Carli

Dr Yoon needs to learn some manners ... had total hip replacement surgery 10 months ago and I’m still in pain and he told me to stop googling symptoms... I’ve since lost my insurance because of the pandemic and now he refuses to see me .. I’m left stuck with pain in my hip still and the surgeon responsible for it will not see me .... he’s a jerk

I am profoundly disappointed with Dr Yoon. He performed my hip replacement surgery and 4 months later I’m still not feeling myself. He is all smiles and friendly while he’s talking you into the surgery then he turns nasty when you have a complaint. He never explained in detail the surgery and he made it seem like it was going to be an easy recovery. He is hard to teach by phone and follow up visits ...
