I don’t normally write reviews because we all tend to change doctors often but Dr Walsman warrants recognition. He is engaging, caring and skilled. He devotes a large amount of his time to teaching at Rutgers which he is quiet about and seems to handle the most complex issues often. He is very busy but always gives us the time we need. We are blessed to have found him.

I was referred to Dr Walsman by my general ophthalmologist because I needed glaucoma surgery. I hope that anyone that needs surgery for glaucoma can get into see him. He’s the best!!

Found Dr. Walsman for my mother after she moved here from Chicago. The office provided seamless level of care from her prior ophthalmologist at Northwestern and Dr. Walsman has been completely worth the wait to see him. He is knowledgeable, articulate, and was so gentle and caring for my mother. We also have gone through cataract surgery with him and the results were perfect. Simply love him.

As we age, our medical and health providers also grow older and eventually they retire. I've recently experienced this situation with my primary care physician and my ophthalmologist; and, the latter treated me for 40 years before his retirement. Fortunately for me, Dr. Walsman is a member of the practice and has become my ophthalmologist. Within minutes of meeting, I knew I was in capable hands of a highly competent, talented and skilled practitioner. Having read my medical history before the appointment, we discussed past and ongoing treatment, and planned for next steps in detail. He was comforting, patient and caring. And, he's younger than I and unlikely to retire before I don't need his care any longer.
