I thought Dr. Sherif was great and he gets 5 stars. He was very kind and eased a lot of my anxiety. My issue is when it came to billing. After a physical, I had a a 5 minute follow up call that to go over my blood work. They billed for a separate visit for that and therefore was not covered by my insurance as I did not meet my deductible. When I called the office in May, they told me they would look into it and they would let me know. No one ever got back to me. 6 months later, I get another notification about the bill and had to call back about the same issue. All I was told was that I had to pay it but no one ever got back to me when I originally called. When I spoke to someone else, they were supposed to call back the next day and they never did. I had to call back every day for a week trying to get them on the phone. I spent more time trying to get answers than I did on that followup call and in the end I owe them $75. I think a decent and caring office would have waived that bill once they realized insurance wasn’t going to pay. In my experience with other doctors, I have never been billed for follow up calls as it still counts for the original visit. It’s very unfortunate because I finally found a doctor I feel comfortable with but there is a complete lack of compassion with billing. I understand billing the insurance company as they should but when it falls back to the patients maybe there should be some consideration for what they are billing for.

Dr. Sherif is very knowledgable, been there for me despite his busy schedule and is very responsive “even on a Friday at 5 pm”. Dr. Asma and the Team are very polite and helpful as well. I have never had to wait to see the Doctor when I go in and, he always makes the time to listen to me and does not rush through any visit(s). Dr. Sherif is the best Doctor I’ve ever had!

Dr. Sherif is a wonderful family doctor: personable, professional, knowledgeable, and able to speak about medical issues in a way that’s informative, but without being patronizing. When I’m sick, Dr. Sherif’s helpful staff are usually able to give me an appointment in a day or two, despite his busy schedule.
