List of Abhijit Chatterjee's Reviews
My dad was showing many signs of dementia (spending thousands a month on charity, not remembering appointments, unable to check phone messages...etc.). I called the office numerous times and finally was able to speak to Dr. Chatterjee. He said he could "smell Alzheimer's five miles away" and my dad didn't have it. Needless to say we are going somewhere else.
BEYOND rude and severely lacking in compassion. Tried to make our entire family feel incompetent until realizing I was a nurse. Once finding out that information, asked me where I worked and attempted to “test” my nursing knowledge. Avoid this man at all costs.
Very pleasant and attentive I am pleased with this Dr and am looking forward to him caring for my needs
Great listener. Very helpful.
BEYOND RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!AVOID!! He spoke of my grandmother as if she was an old dog that needed to be put down. He came into her room, asked her 3 basic questions, and because she didn’t know 2 out of 3 he immediately wrote her off. And THEN he degraded my family for keeping her in poor condition and we should have “let her go a long tome ago” Meanwhile, when we brought her in, it was for minor issues. But when in HIS CARE her health took a turn for the worst. Completely degrading, dehumanizing, and disgraceful. He should seriously have his license revoked. Such an awful human being and “Dr.” I can only hope when he gets older, he receives the same dismal care.
I have never been treated so poorly by a physician. My father was in the hospital, we weren’t allowed to see him due to COVID; which was understandable. Because we could not see him, we had questions. I started asking questions about the care, medications, treatment plan, etc. He asked me if I was a pulmonologist because I questioned a specific treatment. I explained I was not, but I have earned a Doctorate in Nursing and am a cardiac nurse of many years advocating for my father. He replied that it did not matter and invited me to come in the next day to get a lesson on pulmonology with him. He then told my father he was done answering questions and walked out of the room. I have never been insulted in such a manner. My father now questions the care he will receive, we continued to have questions that were not answered, and this was the absolute worst experience. As families it is our duty to ensure the best care, and he was awful.
Dr. Chatterjee is a knowledgeable, compassionate, kind caregiver. He is most concerned with quality of life and not with treating an illness if it will not improve a person's quality of life. My Mother was so relieved that he did not insist she get chemo for an incurable cancer. He helped her make her own choice, rather than insisting he knew what was best. I highly recommend him.
Very rude! Very degrading! Should not have a license for the way he treats people!!
Up and left his practice and patients Oct. 2018. Moved on? Was not very interested in results of your blood tests. Liked to chat about other patients.
I really do not recommend seeing this doctor if you are looking for somebody extremely thorough and compassionate. From my experience, he has been very uninterested in my diagnosis and not sympathetic towards my emotions whatsoever. At my first appointment he was very rude when discussing my abnormal weight gain.. Used the expression "dont you want to be beautiful" and "wouldnt you like to date and be confident" in a snarky tone. At my second appointment he was also very quick to get me out of

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
