My children have been patients of Dr. Lerner's since 1999. He is supportive, empathetic, child-friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He always takes the time to explain his thought process and the plan of care, and he always gives parents or adolescents the final decision making power.

An outstanding doctor with wonderful support staff. He and his former colleague, Dr. Scott Bader, took great care of my severely disabled son, Peter Khuri, while coordinating with several specialists. He has my eternal gratitude and my highest possible recommendation.

Very well with my son during his yearly checkups. Asks questions and engages him to know how my son is. Very approachable for questions about anything and even when my son has questions about his body I have him ask him!

Dr, Lerner have been taking care of my boys since they were born, He has always engaged them in all discussion during their well visit ever since they started talking.. He is approachable, I can always call him if I have concerns. He is the most compassionate doctor I know. My boys love him and so do we.

After having a horrible experience with a pediatrician elsewhere, I was fortunate to be referred to this office. They are awesome here, every one of the Drs. Dr. Lerner is down-to-earth and you can tell he truly loves the work he does. He is honest with symptoms and treatment and does not overmedicate... if antibiotics are not needed, he will not prescribe them. Always takes time to address your concerns and great with the kids (twins here!). I am not local to this office but will drive 40 minutes, that's how great they are. Their computer system is linked to all RWJUH doctors, so they will have results of specialists, hospital stays, etc. Dr. Lerner also works at RWJUH, when my boys were admitted last year, we were so lucky he was the doctor that weekend. Highly recommended, great dr!
