I had an excellent Dr with this practice who was treating me for a little over a year but unfortunately he left. I was redirected to Balar. I won’t even refer to him as a professional as he is undeserving. He didn’t follow any of my current treatments from the prior Dr. and he cancelled an appointment that I had driven over an hour to get too and he didn’t even have the decency to tell me ahead of time. During my second and last time seeing him he was very rude and unwilling to help or listen to my needs. Steer clear, he doesn’t care to help!

He will cut you short when you explain your needs and speak over you, he will tell you one thing but document another on his system, staff besides him is rude as all not all but some of them, states he sees a problem one visit then a visit or two later it’s all in your head.

After visiting several other surgeons for my shoulder, neck and spine, Dr. Balar was spot on. Professional, thorough, courteous, and was able to diagnose the root of the problems and provide relief together with a game plan for future remedy to consider. Best in his field bar none.

Provided next steps that are realistic for me

I recently had an appointment with Dr Balar at in the Princeton office of Princeton Brain and Spine. Dr. Balar was supportive, professional and caring. He and his staff attentively listened to everything I described about my condition. I never felt rushed and was treated with great respect. They asked probing questions, and probed, and prodded my body to help determine the source of my difficulties. They showed an interest in making the correct evaluation. He explained his diagnoses and recommended a treatment path. Dr Balar and his entire staff were not only very professional but also patient, pleasant, and courteous. I really don’t like to go to see doctors, but if you have a need to, this is about as pleasant as it gets. I would definitely recommend Dr Balar to anyone who may need his services.

Disinterested, distracted and unimpressive. There are better doctors. Trust me, you deserve better.

Dr. Balar was extremely supportive, professional and caring. He listened to everything I described about my condition, and he completely explained all of the procedures he was recommending and made sure I understood the options. I never felt rushed when I was with him, and he always treated me with great respect. I have to also comment that all of the doctor's assistants were very nice, professional and diligent in their initial consultations with me before I saw Dr. Balar. They always showed an interest to make sure they had all of my symptoms fully documented for Dr. Balar's reference. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Balar to my family and friends.
