List of Robert Chiang's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr Chaing’s for years. He has provided the best care for my needs over time. He is excellent.
Excellent Dr
The office felt more like a production line than a group of compassionate and caring professionals. Dr. Chiang spent about 5 minutes with me, only to tell me he would not inform me of surgery options unless I scheduled surgery first. Huh? Seemed more important to get booked on his calendar - 2 months in advance. Not a good experience & seeking other opinions.
My trusted eye doctor told me when I eventually required surgery for my cataracts that she would recommend a great ophthalmologist she has referred patients to with great confidence for many years. He was everything and more than I would have expected. Calmly he explained procedures with just enough information to ease any concerns. His professional and friendly office staff was very thorough. They made me feel no question would be too small.
Dr. Chiang is extremely competent who explains everything in detail. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. He possess casual and reassuring temperament to go along with a friendly sense of humor. I highly recommend Dr. Chiang.
If you have a problem with cataracts, this is the doctor you should see. He did an outstanding job on my eyes. Also, if he tells you that advanced lenses (TORIC) might be right for you, go for it. I wore glasses for 60 years, not any more, 20/20 vision in both eyes!
I went for an eye exam. He told me I had glaucoma and then told me to do nothing and come back in a year. I made an appointment with the Willis Eye Hospital for a second opinion.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
