Angana Shah's Online Review Report Card

I received a referral from my primary doctor with this phone number on it for ent doctor A. Shah. Barb, receptionist told me of that she works for Dr. Shah, eye doctors office. As a senior, I thanked her and called the new correct number she gave me. When I reached the recording of ent office, I only heard it say Eye doctor office and got confused and called Barb back to say the new number was incorrect. She loudly said “why don’t you call your primary doctor back and get the number.” She had no patience with me. I later called back and hear the office is eye and ent too. How was I to know when just got new referral as needed a doctor??? I would never use the Princeton Eye office as person then denied being rude and treated a potential patient poorly. She ruined the office for me.

I have been seeing Dr. A Shah for over 5 yrs for Aged related AMD. Prior to that i was a patient of he husband Dr. C. Shah. Both are extremely competent and professional. I would recommend both to anyone.

I wish I can give her, her husband and office staff i.e., entire office a negative 5 on the experiences that my aging parents had with them. Its unthinkable on how uncourteous and inhumane behavior they exhibited. Apart from that they made my mom wait over an hour past the appointment time even though we were there 30mins early, so think about it, more than an hour and half wait for a aging person who is suffering from other medical conditions. Cherry on the top of bad service is that the Doctor never saw us even after waiting an additional 10mins in supposedly a doctors view room. I had to walk out. I get a call later that day from the office that patients like Mom are better handled elsewhere (Wills Eye). If they had already made up their mind of not servicing my mom why the hell did they make us wait??? They also do not have a wheel chair to assist elderly patients. Strange. They could have handled the situation in a much more professional and courteous manner. You think doctor's profession is noble but these guys surely don't understand it. I hope there service closes down starting with this negative feedback and future patients can have better service elsewhere.

Dr. Angana Shah of 2999 Princeton Pike Rd. Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 (609) 883-3000 was highly recommended to me when I had to see a retina specialist. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She is so intelligent! She answers every question that I have, she is extremely gentle,and gives me as much time as I need. She is an expert in giving injections into the eye! There is absolutely no pain whatsoever. The girls that assist her are simply awesome. Both Ally Marissa, and Barbara are the sweetest girls. They are all upbeat and make their patients feel very welcomed. I highly, highly recommend this amazing practice!
