I am back to normal Doctor. I owe you one Buddy
My sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Eisengart. The colonoscopy and hemorrhoid removal was extremely quick and practically painless.Thank you! ❤❤❤❤❤ Five thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍
Introduction: Before my insurance expired, I informed Dr. Eisengart that my insurance was going to change to Medicaid. He replied, "Don't worry about it; your visits are considered under post-operative complication"; so I didn't worry about changing providers. Story: Some time after my old insurance expired, I was on the phone with my old insurance. I incidentally found out I had a $800+ bill from Dr. Eisengart's office. I immediately called the office and spoke with Annmarie Dubin, and she replied, "You should have told me your insurance was switching!" I told her I told Dr. Eisengart about it prior to the change, as well as his response. She said she would call me back. I never received a call back as promised; rather, I received a bill for $150 and letter explaining Dr. Eisengart had extended the post operative period for 90 days! I was never told there was an expiration date for the "post-operative complication" follow up visits. If I was correctly informed, I would have switched to an in-network provider under my new insurance, as I had notifed Dr. Eisengart about my insurance carrier change beforehand. So I called the office and asked why I never received a call as was originally promised, but rather a letter and a $150 bill. Annmarie Dubin told me should would talk to Dr. Eisengart and call me back. I also told her I needed my medical records sent to my new proctologist, who is covered under my new insurance. Annmarie Dubin replied, "We will also give you a follow up call regarding your medical records, and know that we are going to charge you." 3 weeks later, again, I still never received a call as promised. Upon my 2nd request, they finally got my medical records faxed to me. Regarding the bill, Annmarie Dubin informed me, "I can't believe you work in the healthcare field and still not willing to pay the bill! Dr. Eisengart signed off the letter/bill that I sent you. And to be honest with you, I am tired of having to deal this". I informed her, "If I was given correct and complete information when I originally notified Dr. Eisengart about my medical insurance change, I would have switched to an in-network provider under my new insurance instead of expecting 'no-charge' post-operative complication follow up visits, as I was originally told by Dr. Eisengart. I am tired of having to deal with this also, being told not to worry about my medical insurance change, and then getting surprise bills". Annmarie Dubin was unbelievably rude and unprofessional, and completely unwilling to understand the whole situation. I requested to speak with Dr. Eisengart or even come into the office to discuss this situation in person. Annmarie Dubin replied, "Well if you come in, we are going to charge you for the visit." Thinking how unbelievable this was, I replied, "I still want to talk to him about this situation". She replied, "I will have Dr. Eisengart give you a call next week." For the third time in a row, AGAIN I never received a call back as promised. So I called the office and asked why I never received a call from Dr. Eisengart, as promised. Annmarie Dubin stated, "Dr. Eisengart says he has nothing to talk to you about" and that was the end of the conversation. No further contact was made with me. Summary: After proactively communicating and going through the right channels, I still ended up with a $150 bill, against what was originally told to me by Dr. Eisengart in the office. Based on my experience, they are incapable of keeping their word: Dr. Eisengart for giving me incomplete information regarding the existence of an expiration date for my post-operative complication follow up visits and still sending a bill; and Annmarie Dubin for promising to call me multiple times and never doing so, in addition to being very rude, unprofessional, and emotionally unintelligent. I do NOT recommend this practice for anyone, based on what I went through.
Dr. Eisengart and his office staff are exceptionally understanding and caring people - most appropriate for the service industry. I was in desparate need to see a specialist and they gave me a quick appointment by making adjustments. I was taken care of immediately - from surgery to recovery. A very satisfying and good experience

I have been going to Dr. Eisengart for about six years now. I can say, without reservation, that he is one of the most caring, concerned and gentle doctors who have ever treated me. He genuinely listens to me, remembers my medical history, is up to date on my health status and he speaks with a soft voice and with genuine care in his eyes. He is exceptionally skilled in the work he does and apparently loves his work. I cannot praise him enough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
