YES IT'S CLEAR IF COMPLICATIONS SET IN DESAI DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO....MY EXPERIENCES WITH HIM IS ON GOOGLE MAPS REVIEW

My husband woke me up at 1AM complaining of chest pressure and perspiring profusely. Having a medical background I knew he was experiencing a heart attack. By 4 AM he had undergone the insertion of 2 stents into his 90% and 80% blocked arteries. We consider ourselves very fortunate that Dr Desai was on duty in those early morning hours. After completing the procedure, it was not too much trouble for Dr Desai to spend a half hour with me for the purpose of informing me about what he had done and why. And that he would be putting a stent in a third artery in 2 days. None of my questions were left unanswered. Our 45 minute follow up office visit proved just as positive. Via video he was able to show us my husband’s heart both before and after the stent insertions, all the while making sure that we saw and understood what we were observing. He also informed us of the plans for my husband’s recovery over the next several months which was extremely reassuring. Eleanor Nalbone April 2022

Dr. Desai has been treating my congestive heart disease for over three and a half years. I’ve feel really heathy and confident with all the treatment I’ve received from dr. Desai. Dr. Desai did stent operation on my leg( couldn’t walk more than 15 without pain) and now 3 years later I’m pain free. He always takes the time to answer any and all questions I have. I give dr. Desai a 10 star review!

Experienced cardiac Cath from Dr. Desai at Deborah. Insufficient sedation. Procedure burned and repeatedly hurt. I stated this during the procedure. I immediately thereafter developed a severe hematoma which went undiagnosed for hours. The 3rd MD (not Desai, who never checked on me following the cath) diagnosed it and had to push the excess blood and fluid out of my arm. Desai called days later and told me hematomas are common from carbs (they're not), I had "small veins" ( I'm 5'9" tall and 200 lbs), my vein spasmed and that I was "sensitive". This is my fault? Those are issues an MD must determine and adjust for during the procedure. This procedure was a nightmare. I lost use of my arm for 2 days, the hematoma hurt like heck and it's been 8 days and I'm not healed. Hope I regain full use of my wrist. This was a nightmare experience.

Horrific cardiac catherization experience. Insufficient anesthesia during the procedure. I FELT extreme pinching and manipulation in my wrist and hand as well as FELT the cath tube push inside my vein until it reached my shoulder. This was TORTURE. Did not see Desai again after Cath. After the cath, my hand became ice cold and turned purple. Nurses were highly concerned. MD ( not Desai) removed pressure in the band, but did not evaluate for a hematoma. Later, my hand remained purple, cold and my forearm swelled. NURSES CALLED MULTIPLE PHYSICIAN PHONES & NO ONE ANSWERED!!! I had to feel and watch my forearm swell up with blood while I begged that someone come help. Not enough staff avail. for large # of patients. Lost use of my hand for 24 hrs. Called the Deborah grievance line for help. Had to leave a message and it's now been 48 hours and no contact. I am traumatized and horrified from this experience.

Dr. Desai is Amazing, Caring, smart down to earth doctor. Without his knowledge my husband would not be alive today! Thank you Dr. Desai you are the BEST The Fantini Family

Went to the doctors thinking I had bronchitis . A week and a half later I woke up and couldn’t breath. Went to the emergency room at Capital Health. Many doctors were there for me and I received great care. Dr. Desai came to my room and spoke to me about my condition. I had congestive heart failure. He took me under his care and almost two years later I have been back to living a more than normal lifestyle. Dr. Desai takes time to explain all that is going on with my condition and what treatment he has done. He is so easy to talk to and understand what he is has done in my operation. First and foremost let me say that Dr Desai and his team SAVED my life. Came into the hospital having a acute heart attack, my spouse in a tizzy but the calm confident manner in which Dr Desai and his team diagnosed and intervened was nothing short of miraculous At every interval my spouse was kept informed and updated of the progress & status of the procedure and my prognosis. I can tell you the skill and compassion displayed by all was comforting & greatly appreciated. Thank You Dr Desai Team
