List of Harmon Stein's Reviews
He’s a greedy doctor & no patience. It costs me lots of money for 3 procedures & no results. I’m a 55 years old man. He did the first laser surgery for my glaucoma & didn’t lower my eye pressure. He told me again that I need to do 2nd laser. (If the first laser didn’t work, why do I need it again. He said, I didn’t do it intensively. ) It still didn’t lower eye pressure. He told me Xen Gel Stent surgery. It didn’t lower eye pressure & make it worse. He told me to have cataract surgery! I didn’t believe him anymore.
Dr. Stein is awesome. He saw my mother for cataracts and made her feel comfortable with a little bit of humor while also being very informative. We did not feel pressured to make a decision, and we left there feeling confident that we were in the right place.
They canceled my appointment three times I will never go back there again. I was a patient of the doctors sold his practice to Dr. Stein there’s no comparison to the level of service. You don’t cancel on a patient three times
Asked him a question about an alternative treatment. He puffed out his chest and said “If I haven’t heard about it it’s probably bulls#it.” Clearly intended to shut down any further questions. His staff made numerous mistakes and oversights, including 3 people who never introduced themselves before doing procedures. I highly recommend finding another doctor.

My corneas are forever damaged as a result of Lasik and Crystal lens placement by Dr. Stein. Vanity is not worth your eye health. Glasses and contacts aren't the worst thing in life. Be careful.
I had to wait 2.5 hours before being seen by Doctor Stein. It is not professional to make people wait this long. The procedure was only 10 seconds, literally. I would not recommend him to anyone. They were over booked with tsurgeries and it was chaos and the facility was under staffed. You should not wait for 2.5 hours and then have a doctor rush in and out and have no time for questions. I am concerned that Doctor Stein was so rushed that my procedure may not was been done correctly. Awful!!!!
I met with Dr. Stein twice for the same condition. He diagnosed me incorrectly both times. He treated me for the condition I did not have, and performed some procedures on my eye which were completely unnecessary and very hurtful.
This is the worst ophthalmologist one can go to. During my visit at Campus Eye Group he started badgering me with a single question about my discontinuing treatment in the past and then repeatedly accused me of disliking the doctor I was seeing 5 years ago. In other words, he does NOT care to conduct himself professionally with his patients at all. In fact, his behavior was so obnoxious I had to file a formal complaint against him with the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
