I was admitted to the CH ER with acute kidney failure, and overheard 2 ER doctors, one commented that I would probably need a need a kidney transplant and the other commented that I would at least need dialysis for the rest of my life. Thanks to Dr Cohen I needed neither a transplant nor dialysis. Thank you, Dr. Cohen you saved my kidneys.

Michael Cohen has been our family dentist for over thirty years. We can't say enough about him as a professional and as an individual. Our family has had extensive dental work over the years (you name it, we've had it) and we always feel comfortable no matter what the procedure. He takes time to explain everything and more than a few times he has seen us on an emergency basis. Dr. Cohen is not a doctor that I would recommend. As the wife of a man with prostate cancer Dr. Cohen did nothing to help relieve some of our fears regarding the surgery. No reassurance. His bedside manner is lacking. Theres no sense of warmth in his demeanor and perhaps this is just a Jersey thing. Most of the doctors are this way. My husband ended up in the ER several times. Not once did Dr. Cohen return the E.R. physicians phone call. My husband's catheter was misplaced which lead to improper drainage, which led to him getting a UTI which led to him having scar tissue in his abdomen. The sutures were poorly done and were sticking out which led to a longer healing time. I'm not trying to complain. My husband has had several surgeries. This one was the worst. People.... I'm trying to save you. If you can have your surgery done elsewhere, do so. Dr. Cohen has a lot of patients. Only three gave him good reviews. I'll leave it at that.
