MIchael S. Cohen's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Cohen is not a doctor that I would recommend. As the wife of a man with prostate cancer Dr. Cohen did nothing to help relieve some of our fears regarding the surgery. No reassurance. His bedside manner is lacking. Theres no sense of warmth in his demeanor and perhaps this is just a Jersey thing. Most of the doctors are this way.My husband ended up in the ER several times. Not once did Dr. Cohen return the E.R. physicians phone call.My husband's catheter was misplaced which lead to improper drainage, which led to him getting a UTI which led to him having scar tissue in his abdomen.The sutures were poorly done and were sticking out which led to a longer healing time. I'm not trying to complain. My husband has had several surgeries. This one was the worst. People.... I'm trying to save you.If you can have your surgery done elsewhere, do so. Dr. Cohen has a lot of patients. Only three gave him good reviews. I'll leave it at that.

I had some real persistent kidney stone issues. Dr Cohen. Was helpful, informative, and extremely talented with the 3 surgeries I required to rectify the problem. Would recommend him and his practice 100%

My mother was treated by Dr. Cohen for what turned out to be multiple kidney/urological issues in order to be cleared for a medication to treat RA. He was considerate of all her ailments and needs, not just the ones surrounding Urology and ended up having to "create" a surgical procedure to repair a defect that she had from birth apparently. He was very clear in his explanation of things to both her and I and came out after surgery to review what he saw and explain things. I actually like when it's time for my mom to see him, which thankfully now is only once a year. Very highly recommended

Dr Cohen is not only extremely professional in his field, he spends time with his patients exploring options, explaining conditions, and paying heed to his patients' desires or fears. I would not have come this far without his compassion and expertise.

loud rock and roll music blurring in the waiting room and examination rooms. i felt like i was rushed through my examination my questions asked of the doctor were not answered. i was very disappointed receptionist personnel were not very pleasant.i will be going to another urology practice.

He was a very sweet doctor he helped me out 2 times when i was going throw what I was dealing with he explain every thing to me to under stand things hes a very good doctor i would not change him a doctor

He is a wonderful doctor I really love what he did for me this is my second time having kidney stones he really did a good job this time I am really glad that I found him again because he is a good doctor and a good person I like this really think Michael Cohen for all he has done for me I would recommend him to anyone because he's a very good doctor he really cares about his patients

The review I wanted to leave is over 500 characters. So here's the short. Dr. Cohen has given me new life on 2 occasions. 1st - with his modern knowledge of techno of robotic surgery he aided in my survival of Stage IV lung cancer. 2nd with a bladder surgery less painful then a tooth extraction I'm able to function like a normal person. I cannot ever thank him enough for sharing his gifts with me.
