Dr. Maria Silva-Khazaei was responsible for treating a family member while they were at the hospital recently. She was dismissive, talked over my family member when they were trying to ask questions to better understand what was happening, and ignored my family member for days because she wanted to have a previous doctor handle the issue. She treats patients and their families as if helping them was the unfortunate byproduct of being a doctor.

Dr. Silva-Khazaei herself is a great and thorough doctor but her staff is unwilling to help her patients. In several occasions I have tried to speak directly to Dr. Khazaei but her staff will not allow me too. The staff does not rely messages to the doctor and trying to get an urgent appt with her is nearly impossible. I would definitely refer friends to Dr. Khazaei but unfortunately her staff is too inconsiderate for me to refer any family or friends.
