I went to Dr. James Lowe for left arm pain, numbness, loss of strength, and pressure radiating down my entire arm. I knew seven years ago that I required surgery for a herniated disc in my neck, but at the time I elected to try conservative treatment. I went to see Dr. Lowe after noticing my symptoms returning and the inability to even sit without a backrest for a few months. After my consultation with Dr. Lowe and a new MRI, he informed me of my options. I now needed a two level fusion for c5-c7. He was very thorough describing the surgery he recommended including the risks benefits and outcome that he felt I would achieve with the surgery. I underwent a 2 level anterior cervical disc fusion or ACDF on 6/22/2021 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical. I arrived at the hospital at 5:30 am and was home by 12:30 pm the same day. I had minimal pain and discomfort after surgery. Swallowing was a little hard at first and my voice was raspy and squeaky for a few weeks, but that had since resolved. I returned to work 10 days after surgery. I am now 3 months post-op and have zero pain and my strength has returned. I had a great experience with Dr. Lowe, Dr. Zerbo and their PA Nick. Their staff is great and I would highly recommend them.

Dr James lowe did a spinal surgery on me and 2 month i had a infection on my disc and spine doctor never called me back i was calling hes office i whine up in the hodpital for 11 days because of the back infection now i may need another back surgery because on my situation.

Fantastic doctor and wonderful staff, especially Lisa! Dr Lowe and Dr. Zerbo are tremendous! Dr Lowe listens and asks all of the right questions, and multiple examinations to prepare for surgery! Total explanations of the entire operation and the rehabilitation!

This Doctor was the best surgeon . He was compassion and the best after 5 back surgeries starting 2002 to 2009 I didn’t regret that o had so many back fusions

Dr. Lowe and Zerbo did a ACDF C5-6 on me on 9/18/17. I am 3 weeks post surgery and feel great. They are awesome doctors and I would highly recommend them.

Dr Lowe fused my L5-S1, so far after 7 years i am still pain and problem free.

Frist class decompression surgery, no pain killers on the 2nd day!I know 2 other people he operated on same great result. I also know someone who went there and was told he didn't need surgery,so he's not knife happy. Great person, race car driver,interesting fun guy.
