Kelly Hammond's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Hammond was a pleasure to work with and we had her deliver our last 2 children. I'm a Holistic Health Practitioner and she was open minded about our needs. We worked together and now have healthy happy children because of it.

Dr. Kelly Hammond is an awesome physician!

I saw Dr. Hammond a couple of years ago at Riverview Clinic when I was going through a difficult time and for the first time in my life did not have health insurance. I found her to be very thorough and caring. I became eligible for Medicare several month's later and now which is a couple of years later need to see a gynecologist and called for an appointment. I was told she is not accepting new patients. I explained I had seen Dr. at Riverview. I was then asked what kind of Insurance I have. I told them Medicare and I was told Dr. Hammond does not accept new patients on Medicare. Really? Why is that? Do the elderly not need a Gynecologist? I definitely have the money to pay any copay. I found the person I spoke to quite rude and condescending. I have had problems in the past and need to see a Gynecologist. I'll find someone but just had to share that I found this hurtful and pretty disgusting. I choose to believe that Dr. Hammond would not condone the conversation I had with her employee but who knows?

Dr. Hammond is THE BEST! Easily one of the nicest doctors out there. She puts her patients immediately at ease and never makes you feel rushed. It's apparent that she truly cares about her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Hammond to anyone searching for an OB/GYN!

I started going to Dr. Hammond over 15 years ago and although I love her, she is kind and caring and brilliant. However, I have to say I was so disappointed that after having been a patient there for several years, it began to get more and more difficult to get an appointment with Dr. Hammond to the point where you had to call within the first couple hours on a specific date in order to get an appt for the following month. After several months of missing that window because I didn't call early enough at day (4 kids = busy life) it simply kept getting put on the back burner as something I would do if, God forbid, I had some kind of issue. However, since I didn't have any problems, I went several years without going in for an appointment. Recently I called to find out when the "call in" day was so i could try to get an appointment with my doctor only to be told by the staff that because I haven't been in for a while, they would have to consider me a new patient and Dr. Hammond is no longer accepting new patients. All I needed was one appointment for a check up and a referral for a mammo since I am moving out of state in a few months and wanted to leave knowing I had all my check ups but they refused to allow me to make an appointment with my doctor. They instead suggested I see one of their P.A.'s or a different docter. If I wanted to see a different doctor, I would just wait until I move...so that's what I will do. Very disappointed in the lack of accessibility this office provides to a doctor that I trust implicitly...what a shame!

I had not seen Dr. Hammond before my recent first visit. Her office worked to see me quickly (within a few days).

She is a wonderful doctor that I wouldn't give up for anybody else. I've been with her in excess of 20+ years, she makes you feel so comfortable albeit you are visiting a GYN. She talks to you as a person not like a patient.

When I was 18 and went to this doctor, they refused to sterilize me or give me an IUD.When I went back after finding out I was pregnant 7 months in, they abandoned me 8 months in after I asked for an IUD and asked for a C-section to be scheduled. Literally, they kicked me out of the practice.I ended up experiencing PTSD thanks to the pregnancy and having to go it alone since I couldn't find a doctor. Looked into a lawsuit, but emotional distress alone is not enough for most lawyers to go to court.You guys should feel horrible about what you did. You had ZERO regard or care for your patient's wellbeing. Hippocratic oath my ass.

I love Dr. Hammond! She is kind, sweet and talks to you. Just a great person and great Dr.!!

I've been seeing Dr. Hammond for about 18 years. She has consistently been caring, concerned, helpful, thorough, and professional. She has a lovely bedside manner and I have never had a bad experience with her. I actually look forward to seeing her once a year! Her nurses are always pleasant and thorough as well. The girls at the front desk are as nice as any doctor's office front desk (that goes for both offices). The girls seem a bit edgy and overworked but don't they all? I would HIGHLY recommend doctor Hammond.
