Ken Laughinghouse's Online Review Report Card

Dr Laughinghouse is knowledgeable, warm and compassionate. He has been thorough with his exams and reviews of symptoms and systems with my husband during each visit. My husband has been treated with chemotherapy by the doctor for 7 years during which time my husband has experienced life to the fullest. Any side effects have been minimal throughout. His NP Corinne DeSevo is also providing my husband with professional care and followup on a timely basis to supplement the doctor's plan of care. She returns phone calls promptly and is a welcome asset in the office. The office staff has been pleasant and responsive to our calls. The office has been maintaining high standards of care as per the CDC's Covid 19 protocals during this Pandemic to keep us safe. Dr. Laughinghouse treated my daughter who is in remission from stage IV cancer but struggles with ptsd. His bedside manner, patience and respect for her as an adult at 22 was beyond admirable when other dr.s often get impatient and look to me to run the appointment he did not belittle her feelings. He made sure she was comfortable with every test and understood everything that was discussed. I had used him years prior for my own health issues and had found him to be the same way and that’s why I brought her to him. I needed her to experience a Dr. that takes the time to listen. He’s a great dr.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Laughinghouse since 2016 when I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. I’ve never had a doctor who has been so empathetic, caring and so thorough in my life. He goes above and beyond just being my oncologist, he took on my personal case and treated me like a person. I would recommend him to anyone. His partners and staff are excellent as well. Dr. Laughinghouse truly cares about his patients and I feel blessed to have him as my doctor.

I don't know where to begin with my experience with Dr. Laughinghouse, his nurse practitioner Meg Levinson and his horrible staff. Unfortunately, this site does not allow me the necessary space to provide a complete review. I will have to sum it up by saying do not go here. Meg Levinson, the nurse practitioner is not on this planet, she does not call people back, she is clueless as to patients needs and concerns. She is one of the most inconsiderate people I have ever met. As for Dr. Laughinghouse, there are also so many questions that are left unanswered. However, I will say that I don't have breast cancer but he was so concerned about doing a breast exam with no nurse or anyone else in the room. The worst part of it is I had a mammogram and ultrasound 2 weeks prior w/ no significant red flags. I don't have breast cancer, I have stage 3 lymphoma. I can't believe I let him do this. I was in a vulnerable state. Please do not subject yourself to any of this.

Excellent, outstanding 10yrs free from cancer

Dr. Laughinghouse has been my oncologist for over 10 years. He is compassionate, takes time to answer all of my questions, and cares about "the whole person". He is knowledgeable, thorough, kind and has a great bedside manner. Having Dr. Laughinghouse by my side helped me get through one of the toughest parts of my life.

I will NEVER recommend you! You keep patients who have stage 4 lung cancer waiting 2 weeks to see you?? Your office has no compassion and you should have your license taken away. PLUS FIRE YOUR FRONT OFFICE. We happily have found a much better Dr and a better run practice. They are rude and apparently stupid. AVOID DR. LAUGHINGHOUSE! HE AND HIS PRACTICE ATE USELESS AND IS JUST COLLECTING INSURANCE MONEY!

Dr. Laughinghouse is an incredible oncologist (and person). My mother was dying quickly and did not have much time left due to a series of mishaps. Dr. Laughinghouse literally saved my mother's life with his expert intervention. He adeptly navigated my mother to health with incredible compassion, intelligence and true care. He was fantastic to my whole family, as was all the the staff at RCCA Little Silver. The front desk, the nurses, the other oncologists, the nurse practitioner (Meg), Avni, the nurse coordinator, the infusion room were all incredible. They saved my mother's life. If I get cancer, Dr. Laughinghouse and the team at RCCA would be my first choice for care. Thank you to everyone there.
