Andy Rodriguez's Online Review Report Card

Dr Rodriguez is a wonderful dr. He takes care of my 94 year old mom who has frontal lobe dementia. His bedside manners are so beautiful. He is so patient with my mom . He never rushes us. As the daughter I ask many questions and he listens to every word you say. He makes you feel better as you go through this terrible disease of your loved one. I highly recommend him if you need a neurologist. I am very happy with the care he offers us during this difficult time.

Dr. Rodriguez is a caring, professional and knowledgeable Doctor. His incredible bedside manner and genuine concern comes through as he genuinely listens to his patients concerns. Dr. Rodriguez is willing to do what he can to problem solve for the best outcome.

I have been going to Andy Rodriguez since Dr. Devinsky handed me over to him as his patient 8 years ago after Dr Devinsky stoped my seizures. I have been a patient here for 12 years. During Covid 2020 I had my appointment with Andy Rodriguez and he told me I was going to get a phone call for an appointment after the conference call ended for next years appointment. That never happened. Fast forward to now I was offered an amazing job but I need a DOT physical and I need a paper from him for approval for the physical. Andy refuses to help me because he hasn't seen me in 2 years. Completely understandable if the pharmacy showed I wasn't picking up my medication every month and if I had a history of having seizures since I started being his patient and i had appointment scheduled for this November. I take my medication daily and haven't had a seizure in 12 years thanks to Dr Devinsky. The one time I actually needed my Doctor, Andy he is no where to be found and can't even do a normal zoom meeting that takes 5 mins just like our last one during covid. Long story short if you have epilepsy and looking for a job don't use him as your doctor, it's already hard enough.

Dr Rodriguez is a great doctor. He takes his time and listens to any concerns! He is very caring and very thorough with his assessments. I would highly recommend him as a neuro dr! Nurses and other staff members are very prompt in returning calls and assisting with any paperwork! Highly recommend!

Dr. Andy Rodriguez just may be the best doctor in the whole world ever...He does not talk down to you and calmly explains. He is smart, predicts your needs. Will make accommodations if something is not able to be done one way. We just love him...I felt I didn't want to rate him too highly or he will get too busy...Please Dr. AROD do not ever leave St. Barnabas!

if you call to make an appoinment forget it there is nobody to pick up the phone his secretary Melisa is never in her office .the other day my son had an appoinment to see Dr. rodriguez and it was cancelled without telling us untill today still waiting for them to pick up the phone.

Ive been to several neurologists and I feel like the only one who actually listened to me was Dr Rodriguez. He actively tries to help me and my condition. I definitely recommend him.

I was a patient of Dr Rodriguez, and very much needed to see him again regarding my epilepsy condition that he had diagnosed & had been treating. Called to make appointment, asking first if they accepted what was now my new insurance. They checked & responded that they did, gave me an appt for end of March. They called a few days ago to say they had an earlier opening, I said ok & drove the 30 miles to get here. I handed the receptionist my new insurance card so she could record it and she checked with someone I couldn’t see, came back & said they weren’t in that network! I told her I had specifically asked about the new insurance when I first called. She just looked at me & said I could still see Rodriguez if I wanted to for $35O. I think I said something nasty to her and just left. Unbelievable. Very sloppy, they should have let me see him and ate the cost because of their error. I would have in my business.
