I have been his patient for about 15 years and would highly recommend him. He is extremely qualified, compassionate, knowledgeable, and caring. As a transplant patient these qualities are extremely important. I feel fortunate to be his patient.

Beware of St. Barnabas for kidney transplant surgery. The priority for this medical facility is insurance reimbursements and post op outcome stats. They will do surgery on marginally healthy donors even if there is zero support from family members. The social workers mislead families. Ethically challenged.

Rude, arrogant, awful bedside manner. These are just the first three things that pop in my head when I think of Dr. Weng. As bad as it gets. Avoid him and St. Barnabas Kidney Transplant Center at all costs. They have very questionable decision making. There are plenty of great units in the NY, NJ, PA area. Do your research! These guys are behind the times.

Dr. Weng and his team at Barnabas transplant center is miseducated about the proper way to use certain treatments and medications. His bedside manner is very poor, and his own ignorance was a key factor in the awful results if my case. Avoid Barnabas transplant center and go to NYC!
