Condescending and obnoxious!! Would never go back!!

He use to be a good doctor. Now he rushes you In and out and when he does talk to the parent he tends to be condescending and can be quite dismissive if he “thinks” the child isn’t “that sick” also had to nerve to ask if it’s bothering me more or my child More! And proceeded to ask my my not yet 5 year old where her cough was Coming from? Laughed and acted as if it were a joke I was back when my kids cough got worse after over a week. Switching docs!

Dr.Kohn starts out great as a doc for your child especially when they are just there for follow ups, he does rush the appointments but it’s a follow up And his bedside manners seems so nice, all that changes when your child is sick and coughing like crazy with nothing helping. he will be dismissive to your child and condescending to parents. Going so far as to laugh at you for bring your sick child back after cough worsened and had been sick for 7 days. If it not RSV he basically didn’t care if my kid was sick or not. Had to go to my pediatrician to get some relief after 10 days! Definitely not bring my child back to him!

Dr. Kohn will tell you to bring your asthmatic children in to HIS office for sick visits, but when your kids are actually sick, he makes you wait a month before you can bring them in because he has no sooner appointments available. Which defeats the purpose because your kids aren’t even sick by then. Once, the receptionist even told me that the sooner appointments are reserved for new patients. So they lure them in with an appointment they can get right away, but once you become a regular, they ignore your needs. He has no evening hours, and gives you an attitude when you can’t take off work (the job that provides you with the insurance that allows you to be able to afford these visits) to come in when your kids are healthy so he can tell you to stay on the same asthma plan that your kid has been on for years. So when my kid got sick I had to bring him to his ped. When she called him, he said they’ve been trying to reach out to me! No mention that they had no sooner appointments!

Very rarely, you meet a doctor who really cares and takes time to spend with their patients. My baby has been having a bad streak of infections - bacterial and viral from daycare. After a few weeks of constant coughing, and a round of antibiotics, we were at wits end. The pediatrician was ready to put him on more medicine, and Dr. Kohn agreed with us that it wasn’t the right course of action. He ordered further testing, and even called us on his day off with results. The results clarified that it was viral and antibiotics wouldn’t work. We were so thankful he was on our side and pushed for answers with us. We can not recommend Dr. Kohn enough! Not only is he very knowledgeable, he explains things to you in normal terms and not medical ones so you understand. He’s also extremely personable and friendly

Speaks through you as a parent - rushed, little eye contact, tad condescending. But worst of all, overheard him making fun of me (actually was speaking to an associate right in front of me!) for not realizing my son was using one of his inhalers incorrectly! My son was embarrassed for me. Odd, immature and not very professional to say the least. Is it too much to ask for a competent provider who can appropriately conduct himself ? I don't think so.

Dr. Kohn is a very compassionate and understanding doctor. He was very thorough with tests and questions when diagnosing my son and I completely trust and recommend him. Staff is also extremely friendly.

Dr. Kohn came highly recommended from a friend. He was extremely thorough with my daughter in gathering all the facts of her health, her symptoms and potential diagnosis. I feel confident he is going to bring resolution to my daughter's issues just as he did for her teammate. Everything from the moment I made the appointment to the completion was of the utmost in professionalism. You don't always find that but it makes the long commute for me to get there completely worth it.

Dr.Kohn and his staff are wonderful. My son is having a rough time with a persistent asthma cough this winter and Dr.Kohn and his entire staff have been ultra supportive and helpful. My son has a tendency to be a bit shy and resists going to doctor appointments -- but not with Dr. Kohn! Dr. Kohn has established a wonderful report with my son and also always takes the time to answer all of my questions and concerns regarding my little guy's treatment. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatric pulmonologist.

Dr. Kohn is an excellent doctor. He is extremely knowledgable, compassionate, and has given excellent care for my son. I strongly recommend him.
