James A. Rommer's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Rommer is excellent! After going to another doctor for years, I went to Dr. Rommer who found out that I had a serious condition that my previous provider did not even know about. Dr. Roomer also discovered a condition my son had but was never pointed out by his previous provider ( a different provider than mine) . Dr. Roomer takes the time to listen to my concerns and answers all of my questions; he always calls me back when I have a problem. I trust Dr. Roomers expertise and am so very glad he is my Doctor. The office staff is efficient and I never have to wait long for my appointment.

Dr. Rommer has been my primary physician for over thirty years. When he was not participating in the network provided by my employer's health insurance, I still had him as my primary and paid out of network for routine and other visits. Dr. Rommer is thorough, and clear in his instructions, among other attributes.

It says a lot that I have been a patient of Dr. Rommer's for many years, whether or not he was "in plan." He is absolutely dedicated to his patients, and schedules time each day to take calls and discuss symptoms or test results. As a skilled internal medicine doctor, he either capably treats an infection or refers you to a qualified specialist if required. He is reserved but friendly, very professional and very close to on-time with appointments.

Dr. Romer knowledge is quite good. The staff is only fair at what they do.

Dr. Rommer is a fine doctor, always timely and concerned, and knowlegable. I would recommend him to anyone. He is available by phone twice a day to answer your concerns. My husband and I moved from Westchester, and did not have a recommendation until a friend of ours, also a doctor, recommended Dr. Rommer. You can't get a better thumbs up than from another doctor.

He takes the time you need to talk to him.

This guy is the worst doctor I have ever been to. I came in with a temperature of 95.5 and he didn't think anything of it. He doesn't care about your symptoms, he just cares about what the labs say. He is also rude and arrogant. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Rommer is compassionate, understanding and easy to talk to. He is very accessible and will schedule an appt. for that day if your problem can't wait. I find him knowledgeable and when he doesn't know something he will tell you. He recommends top notch doctors for specialties. He isn't in my medical plan and I still go to him - that says a lot!

Excellent in every way. Caring, intelligent and sympathetic, will answer calls and has the ability to recommend another doctor if the need is there. Very special!

Dr Rommer is really smart, very caring and happily answers any questions you might have. He never rushes you and his office is run well - very rarely is there a wait of more than 10 minutes. He is totally on his game.
