Each appointment with him has been informative, thorough and never rushed. Typically, surgeons get a bad rep for their bedside but Dr. Maggi really connects which inspired me to write this review. Cancer treatment hasn't been a day at the beach but it ended up reasonably successful. Now we just have to get through post-treatment hoops and pray it doesn't return. Thanks Dr. Maggi for always being so kind. (His staff = pretty nice too).

I went to visit Dr. Maggi for a surgical procedure...he explained to me in a very unprofessional manner that my opinion on this surgery did not matter and only his did. Not only did he say that he said that he also said that he doesn't need to help me he has "PLENTY OF PAITENTS TO WORK ON, AND HE DOSENT NEED MY BUISNESS!!" Honestly I don't even know how this Dr. is board certified. So after the visit I walked out to check out and the the office lady's were so rude because I said I did not want to come back they rolled there eyes at me and sighed underneath there breath. I am giving you an F!!

Dr. Maggi is the kindest and most caring doctor I have ever come across. He was patient with me and answered all of my questions. He was exceptionally thorough before and after surgery. I think he has excellent judgement and a lovely bedside manner. I would recommend without reservation.

Dr Maggi released my 20 year old son mere hours after removing a perforated appendix. Two days later my son wound up back in a different hospital where not only could the surgeon there not understand why he had been released so soon from NYU, but it took them 3 days of strong IV antibiotics to get my son's white count under control and to get his fever down. My son suffered terribly because of the poor judgment of Dr Maggi.

Laparoscopic appendectomy. Surgery went well. Had a thorough follow-up appointment. He let me ask as many questions as I could think of and seemed very genuine.
