I have been her patient for many years and continue to travel over an hour to see her twice a year. Wait times can be long but she takes time to talk with her patients , not down to them. The staff couldn't be nicer. They have all been with the doctor for many years.

Dr.Somers is an amazing doctor. She was very gentle, very patient very compassionate and very professional. Although I visited Dr. Somers under unfortunate circumstances, She and her entire team made the experience as comfortable as it could be for me. I recommend Dr. Somers if your looking for a doctor who truly cares and a team who understands your needs. Thank you Dr. Somers & thank you to the woman at the front (forgot her name) who held my hand the entire time. Thank you everyone you guys are truly god sent.

Dr. Somers has been my doctor for over 17 years. She is by far one of the most dedicated and knowledgeable physicians in her field. I trust her. Her staff is fantastic. I travel over 40 minutes from west NJ. My adult daughter is also a patient and feels the same. Dr. Somers is the best.

Dr. Somers is truly amazing! I have been her patient for over 25 years...she delivered my last son. She is kind and compassionate, extremely intelligent and forthcoming, and very respected by her peers and nursing staff at St Barnabas Hospital. She always takes her time to give you detailed information during the office visit. She is a positive force and always very calm and reassuring. I trust her completely. I love talking to her. I never feel rushed or leave with questions. She really cares, it’s that simple. Her staff is always on point, especially Adrienne, her office manager. She’s always friendly and kind. Her nurses Melanie and Lorraine are fabulous and have been with her forever! They are the best and helped me tremendously during a very difficult time and I will forever be grateful to them. Yes, there is a wait at times, but remember Dr Somers is giving someone else the CARE they need, so relax and know she’s worth the wait!

Dr Somers is the best physician I have ever had! She tells it like it is (which I love), is supremely knowledgeable, and calm in all situations. I had an abnormality in my pregnancy at 33 weeks and she delivered my baby without complication. I have no doubt I would've had a c-section if it weren't for Dr. Somers. Beyond her unparalleled medical expertise, she gave me comfort when it mattered most and I will never forget that. The hospital staff has the utmost respect for her, one of the nurses told me when they see Dr Somers they know they better be on their "A-game". I am forever grateful to Dr Somers for giving me my healthy son and a great birth experience even in a challenging circumstance.
