List of Joseph S. Cervone's Reviews
Terrible office terrible employees terrible everything. Extremely rude attitude. Everything on my paperwork was incorrect including my phone number! I was literally outside of the building when they told me that my appointment was canceled 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. This is in April and now they’re telling me that they don’t have anything open until October. Extremely horrible service!!!
Dr.Cervone is a wonderful and carindg doctor. He listened to me addressed all of my medical concerns.
After undergoing chemotherapy and radiation for 5+ years, my wife, Kathy died of stage IV metastatic breast cancer in January of 2022. Prior to her diagnosis in June of 2017, Dr Cervone had been her primary care physician. Kathy began exhibiting symptoms in in June of 2016, starting with back pain and multiple compression fractures. At that time, Dr. Cervone diagnosed her as having pre-osteopenia and prescribed physical therapy and calcium supplementation. In reality, her spinal problems were the result of the breast cancer having metastasized to the bones in her back, left shoulder and rib cage. From August of 2016 through April of 2017, Kathy lost over two inches in height, suffered great weight loss and eventually required a wheelchair. Yet through all of this, Dr. Cervone never had her tested for cancer. The time she wasted seeing rheumatology specialists and receiving physical therapy could have been spent treating the cancer sooner. As she was already likely Stage IV, this might not have saved her, but it would have given her a better chance of survival. Kathy bears some responsibility for failing to have had mammograms for several years. Even so, it was negligent of Dr. Cervone to diagnose and treat Kathy for pre-osteopenia without testing for cancer which was the root cause of her symptoms. He should have prescribed the proper tests and required them to be done as a pre-requisite for further treatment. Dr Cervone’s failure to do this had catastrophic consequence for Kathy.

He's the BEST!!!
Dr. Cervone takes the time to listen to your needs and concerns and has been professional at all times. Is very thorough, courteous, and honest.
Dr. Cervone has been my primary care physician for more than 20 years. He is thorough, concerned and knowledgeable. He has provided excellent care and advice over the years.
By far the most caring and professional dr. I have ever seen. Took his time and worked with me to achieve my health goals. A great staff, clean and modern office. I was and am thrilled I found him!
I didn’t even get a chance to meet with the doctor because his receptionist decided to go back and forth with me over the phone about a call she sent me (she denied it for whatever reason) instead of actually rescheduling the appointment she called me about in the first place. I called back because she left a voicemail with HER name and number but then claimed she never called me and I was never a patient in the first place. I literally mentioned her by name which of course I only know because she told me. Now I have to go somewhere else to make an appointment. I was only returning a call and she’s telling me how it’s the wrong office and she would never say something like that, she told me to reschedule because my date wasn’t for new patients. I had no issue with rescheduling, my issue was her going back and forth and telling me how I called the wrong place, she didn’t say that and all of a sudden my information isn’t with them. Mind you, I sent images of my insurance card as well as all my personal information and it just disappears now. Ridiculous.
Dr. Cervone is always interested in my concerns and listens. He is up to date on studies and is constantly adjusting my care accordingly. I have great confidence in him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
