List of Kyra Blatt's Reviews
My wife is journeying along the road of memory loss. We have spent the last few months learning the nuances of available alternatives in treatment and care. However, finding any neurologist specializing in memory loss was difficult. Finding a doctor that spends the necessary time to assess your condition, and compassionately explains her observations and alternatives, made our day. Dr Blatt, provided a strategy for further testing; integrated our present efforts for inclusion in ongoing trials; assessed present medications; and, most importantly provided next steps ranging from using a nutritionist to assessing hearing. We left the appointment with a better understanding of our next steps. Still concerned, but we finally found a doctor who gets it. We recognize any improvement will be incumbent on us taking control, but it was nice finding someone that provided a way forward.
Dr Blatt spent over 30 minutes with me, getting a detailed history and explaining the reasoning behind the tests and the pros and cons of alternative treatments. She was very thorough and attentive. I did not feel rushed and all my concerns and questions were addressed. The medications she prescribed were very effective and my condition improved immediately. She is clearly very experienced in the treatment of migraines and I would highly recommend her.
Dr Blatt took the time to listen to me and understand my history. She was professional and compassionate. I consider myself to be very fortunate to have crossed paths with Dr Blatt.
Office staff is horrendous. Dr Blatt definitely prefers her other office to the crumbs she throws this location. She puts a bandaid on symptoms but is not interested in looking at solving a real dx.
Sometimes when you hear hoof beats, it is, in fact, a Zebra. Unfortunately Dr. Blatt was unwilling to go beyond the easiest diagnosis even though it didn’t fit my husband’s symptoms. She heard hoof beats but insisted it was horses. Fortunately we found another neurologist who was willing to do the necessary testing.
Dr Blatt seems good at first. Then you will will see her follow-up is terrible, she is very disorganized, she is nasty if you disagree with her, and she really has a poor grasp of scientific principles and study methodology. She is more concerned with her personal liability than the care of her patients. I would strongly recommend you find a different neurologist.
Dr. Blatt seems very knowledgeable, but she provided no details about her findings, so not helpful . On a follow-up phone call she was rude & dismissive, which added more stress to what was already a stressful situation. Terrible communication style. Not the kind of doctor I’m used to at all, and I would not recommend.
This Doctor saved my life. Dr. Blatt is very thorough and she helped me through a very hard time , where I couldn't find anyone to understand my symptoms she did.May she be blessed all the days of her life for that.
I was her patient at E. Tremont Med. Ctr., the Bronx located at 930 E. Tremont Ave. The wait time was always 7-8 hrs. because of walk in appts... Although I was very unhappy with the wait time, Dr. Blatt is one of the great doctors who cares and spends time with patients, educating them as well. Now that she has relocated, I am trying to find where she now practices so that I may continue being her patient.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
