It is rare to see a dentist like this nowadays. There are many dentist out there, who focus on treatment, procedure, surgeries rather than prevention. Dr. John Chang is different. To sumup my experience with Dr. Chang, he is patient, caring, and knowledgable. As a parent, I learn so much about my child's teeth, cope with situations, and gain more peace of mind as what to expect down the road. My child had an dental emergency, Dr. Chang's presence was warm, friendly, and reassuring, which really help us a lot in the situation. He also let us know what might happened, so we know what to expect, but we know if anything happens, we have the best to guide us. When I came out of the office, I found that Dr. John Chang is one of the TOP DENTIST in NJ, and he never brag about it, he just put his mind and energy into his work, and let it speak for itself.

Jaden has been seen by Dr John since he has his teeth. I remember I was anxious of how the experience will go because Jaden hardly will let me brush him at home. But Dr John has ease Jaden in seamlessly and he was really well behaved throughout the process. This has been the case since we have been seen until today. Furthermore, Jaden actually will come back home and let me brush when it’s time because Dr John mentioned to let mommy brush! Our daughter will be joining once her set of teeth grow in due course. Thank you.

Dr John Chang was absolutely wonderful with our son who is autistic and non-verbal. He has had appointments with other dentists and this visit with Dr.Chang has been the least stressful, relaxed and unhurried. The staff were very helpful and nice as well. 100% recommend Dr.Chang!

Great experience for my 5 year old with multiple cavities. Dr took time to explain whole process and steps that would require to save my child's teeth. Amazing office staff, they patiently work with kids and keep checking on you for next steps. I highly recommend , you feel secure your child is in great hands.

My 2 sons (2 and 5 years old), who are sometimes nervous about doctors, absolutely love visiting this dentist. Dr. John Chang is so calming and talks them through the whole appointment. The boys love choosing their toy to take home and the TVs on the ceiling really help to get them in the chairs cooperatively. I highly recommend this practice if you're looking for an excellent pediatric dentist.
