Malay S. Rao's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Rao is a great listener as well has doctor. His approach is low key and he knows all the answers. I had some treatments and they all worked great. I would suggest anyone with a cancer problem go to him.

Dr. Rao has been there for me all the way from the time of my breast diagnosis, throughout my care and follow visits. His attention to detail is remarkable. He is patient with me and my family when answering questions, and we have alot! He has even take time to call me after hours to give me updates, even if it’s just to let me know he’s still waiting on results. He’s also very bright and takes time to explain things in detail. I wish I could follow him to New Jersey to continue my care. Any patient would be lucky to have him.

Right off the bat he would not explain to us about the radiation treatments, he only had two words ‘not yet’. This was back in Apr. 2022 and it’s now Oct. 2022. I had 33 treatments of high radiation and all he would say ‘not yet’. I asked him to review two scans that my oncologist ordered, a PET and CT scan that was caused by the radiation I got at his office. I wanted his input. His reply this time, only one word ‘Nope’ and referred me to continue with my oncologist. Is Dr. Rao for real? He avoided my wife for our weekly office visits. He would meet me outside the radiation room, in the hallway just so he would not have to talk with my wife, this was his sole purpose of meeting me in the hallway. My oncologist recommended Dr. Rao and they both determined that surgery was not an option for me, that the best treatment plan was chemo and radiation. Again, I would not recommend Dr. Malay Rao. I told my side of the story now you decide.

Dr. Rao is the best doc I have ever been around in my 56 years!

If you are looking for not only an excellent oncologist but the staff are simply outstanding! Dr Rao is a no nonsense physician and his staff are very helpful and caring as well as having great sense of humor. I spent 6 consecutive weeks with radiation plus 3 weeks with chemo. Not once did I feel like a stranger with anyone that works there plus they were very kind and nice with my wife. I can't say enough about my experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GROUP OF PROFESSIONALS. I met with Dr Rao for a consultation to discuss radiation for the treatment of Triple Negative Breast Cancer. My plan before even meeting Dr.Rao was to get a second opinion on my treatment. Once I met him, he explained everything that would be done in detail. He answered all of my questions with tremendous satisfaction. He was caring and compassionate.......which is what I really needed. I didn't feel like he was in a rush to get me out the door to see his next patient. Totally reccomend him!

I would highly recommend Dr. Rao and the whole staff at the Braselton location. I have just completed 30 rounds of radiation and I received excellent care. The staff is compassionate, encouraging and at times funny! They lift your spirits while providing excellent and professional care. I would recommend this practice with no hesitation!

Great doctor. Takes time to know your medical history before office visit. Excellent staff. Short wait times.

I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANY ONE WHO HAS THE DIAGNOSIS OF CANCER. He is very understanding , compassionate and caring doctor. He calms your fears and lets you know everything that is involved with the treatments. He is always available to answer any questions that you might have.
