List of Marvin I. Ruderman's Reviews
Came to the doctor with a complaint of severe neck spasms and TMJ. While the doctor was nice- he only prescribed me a cervical spine mri and not an additional mri which would confirm my TMJ. Upon returning home he also failed to call in my prescription for muscle relaxers. I was then billed $1000 for the appointment where I received no medication and an incomplete mri. I cancelled the mri and was billed $700 for an mri I never receieved. Nothing has been done or improved for almost $2000. Also, the receptionist is very rude and needs to work on her manners. She tried to tell me that there is not an mri for TMJ- when doing a two second google search it is clear that that is the only way they officially can diagnose TMJ. Find another practice.
Went there with my father for dizziness.. all the dr did was play on his laptop. And told my dad see him n 3 weeks .. went back and he did the same thing .. how is he suppose to help if all her does is go on his laptop n play with it. Dont go there run
I had been a patient of his for a few yrs since I've been dealing with chronic migraines. I thought about writing this for a few weeks but felt I needed to; I didn’t want to do it out of impulse when it happened. When I met Dr Ruderman he was very polite and thorough. I continued going throughout my treatment but the last few visits left me wondering if he’s actually paying attention or just figuring out his new computer system. I even helped him reset his pc when it froze during a visit. I called him after struggling with a 7day migraine and since it was on a weekend the first thing he says is that I need to call during office hours. Not sure why he’s on call and it wasn’t the first time he’s said this. Previous call was on a weekday which his office was closed. It’s just sad to see how drs forget they’re dealing with humans who trust them with their health and how patients can become an inconvenience to their practice
I have known Dr. Ruderman for decades. I am a Nurse Case Manager, what I do know is if he can not fix it no one else can. He is the Best
Dr.Ruderman is fully knowledge and competent. Any negative reviews are simply focussed on personality. I trust him implicitly and am the daughter of another mild and laid-back medical man. A physician SHOULD NOT be judged by his manner. The patient must recognize that background and skill are the only measure of man/woman!
I was referred to Dr. Ruderman by another physician who knows me well. I brought someone with me to the visit, who works in the medical profession, along with documentation. Dr. Ruderman barely looked at me, while I explained my history. His exam was so quick. I had to stop him at one point, so I could respond to a question about a body part when he was already on another body part. He then wrote an extremely subjective report leaving out extremely pertinent information that I told him, in order to make a subjective unsubstantiated point, and never really answered my doctors questions. I ended up going to another doctor to find out why I was having the problem I was having and for treatment. That doctor took me seriously, unlike like Dr. Ruderman who made inaccurate assumptions.
I was referred here by another doctor, who knows me well because I was having headaches. I brought a medical professional with me, along with medical documentation. Dr. Ruderman barely looked at me. His exam was so fast, I couldn’t react to what he was doing. He then wrote a report leaving out extremely pertinent information, in my history, to help make his extremely subjective point and never diagnosed my headaches. I ended up having to go to another doctor to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
The Dr. is clear and professional. He explains everything in language the lay person can understand.
I have been living with MS for 22 years. I was referred to this man by a patient of his. The man never looked at me the whole time I was in his office. He did a spinal tap...got his money....sent me home after only TWO hours on my back. Needless to say, I was in agony for 5 days afterwards. He told me my symptoms were all in my head go see a psychiatrist. I went to Dr. Cook who is the top MS specialist in NJ and he confirmed I did indeed have MS. Naturally, I had a second and third opinion and they to confirmed MS. Why this man would send me off into the world thinking I had a psychological problem is nothing short of sadistic. MS and stress do not mix.
Dr. Ruderman is aptly named as he and his office staff are quite rude. He had no compassion and was only concerned with getting paid.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
