So very disappointed that when trying to schedule an appointment I was just sent to a VM box, this happened three times so I left a message. My message outlined the need to have my 9 year old son seen after having an episode at school. Shocking that I am now on day three waiting for a callback from the "nurse" to schedule the appointment. I will now look elsewhere but I find it disgraceful that my message is ignored. If a Neurologist doesn't have control over her staff and set the stage for a compassionate organized staff not sure she should be working with small children and scared parents in the field of NEUROLOGY.

Dr. Mahalingam saw my six year old daughter for her anxiety. She was very prompt with the appointment. She answered every single one of our questions and made us feel so comfortable. Very welcoming and warm demeanor. I don't understand the two negative reviews here because the doctor was amazing! Will definitely recommend her to family and friends!

She is amazing. So honest, very knowledgeable, cautious, almost conservative in management. Neurology is very stressful on a family but she creates calm and solid guidance on the journey. Thank you Doc

She and her office staff are very prompt in answering calls and questions. she does spend good time answering questions and listening to your concerns. BUT she has no empathy or hope when you have a special needs child. She does not believe that these children can do better with help or just with time. She sounds as though she questions parents belief as well. She should walk a mile in a special needs' parents shoes before passing rude comments wrapped in a polite shell. I go to her only because of her promptness and her subject knowledge, but I come back depressed after talking to her. And you don't want this from a doctor.

Dr. Mahalingam was wonderful with our 2 year old. She made her feel comfortable immediately. She also answered all of our questions clearly and made us feel at ease.
