Was rushed, dr was in the room maybe 3 minutes and looked at a small portion of skin. Did not do a viral or bacteria swab for testing. Was misdiagnosed. Got correct diagnosis from a different derm office who did testing.
Most efficient doctors office I’ve ever been to! Made my appointment on ZocDoc (very easy), checked in and didn’t even get to sit down before called to go in. Once ready to see the doctor she came in very promptly! Always frustrating when you make an appointment and it takes so much longer than anticipated to complete the visit. Not the case at this office today :)
Good experience making an appointment on the phone. I arrived 15 min before my appointment and still had to wait an additional 20 minutes after I was supposed to be seen. I was only called after asking the front desk when I’d be seen. The woman who took my initial information was very kind and pleasant. I had a great visit with Jennifer Goldberg who told me that she specializes in skin of color.
Go to another doctor!! When I say a true waste of time, I absolutely mean it. Dr.Patel was unbelievably insincere and a freaking waste of my gosh darn time. He offered absolutely no help whatsoever. Didn't even look into my issue and couldn't even think of anyone that would help. If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would.
The WORSE front office that I have ever seen in 40 years. Problems when you call, problems when you arrive, problems when they send you your prescriptions, problems with your insurance, problems refilling your prescriptions. All those problems are because of the incompetence of the personnel and could be easily avoided with the right staff. After all these problems, you do not care how good or bad the doctor is!
Dr.Patel is knowledgeable but the rest of the staff simply do not care. The receptionist wrongfully claimed that my mother's insurance was no good. We called the insurance company and they spoke to the receptionist on our cell phone and cleared the issue. Then she blamed the intake people on the phone for taking the info like name and address wrong. Then she gave us a tablet to input my mother's medical info but she put in the name and last name wrong herself as we could not login. Then she fixed it huffing and puffing as if it was our mistake. We found out that our address info was typed in wrong by her after she made a big deal about it. We really did not like the way she loudly repeated the name, address, birthday etc. that supposed to be confidential info. We have not received our prescription sent to Walgreens after the visit for 5 hours and still counting. Called the phone number twice and spoke to two non-native speakers and tried to explain to them that we need our prescription but nothing has been done as of 6 hours after the visit. A good doctor should not be dealing with such issues.
Horrible front office and even worse phone reps. Intake was bad, saw Doctor Patel for 3 minutes, did not receive my prescription sent to the pharmacy as promised by the physician assistant. Had to call them 5 times and every time they said it will be sent to the provider to be sent to the pharmacy but nothing happened! This is not an item that I buy from Amazon for my pleasure. This is my prescription that I need!!!!
I made an appointment here in advance for my daughter. I advised the lady of the insurance while scheduling this appointment as well as providing the policy number and they guaranteed that they accepted the insurance. I drove 40 minutes to get here for the receptionist to apologize and say the doctor here today does not accept the insurance but I can come back tomorrow to see the doctor who does. She looked into the account and realized the call center has put in the appointment incorrectly causing me to waste my time coming out today. I am beyond furious that i had to drag my newborn and 4 year old out to an appointment I can’t even have her seen at. This is a mess. If the call center is responsible for appointments PLEASE in office have the receptionist double check PRIOR to the appointment to make sure it was not made in error. I received 3 messages via text confirming this appointment also and no one said anything about not accepting the insurance. Waste of time.
This doctor was seriously one of the worst I’ve experienced. I told this doctor I believed I had lice or scalp ringworm because my scalp suddenly itched march 23 the night after a concert and gradually it went from my neck and ears hairline area to my entire scalp, and my partner and best friend who shared pillows and bed with me also started getting the same terrible itch. I was ignored and he did a basic check of my head with just his hands no light or magnifying glass. He sat down and explained he was going to prescribe a medicine for dermatitis and how to use it. I grew increasingly uncomfortable and explained it can’t be that because I’ve never had dry scalp and why would two people also develop that suddenly at the same time? He checked again and still assumed it wasn’t lice because he didn’t see any. It wasn’t until I told him I care for my recently born niece and young nephew and my 78 year old father who just had shingles and terrible nerve damage from it; and that they cannot afford to have lice because of me, that this doctor finally called someone else in. The second doctor used actual tools and found the lice within seconds. Then the wrong medicine was prescribed for me and I was unable to pick it up because my insurance didn’t cover it and it was hundreds of dollars. The only shampoo I picked up (and thought it was for lice) was for dermatitis! Something I do not have! I assumed the shampoo was for lice because why would he prescribe anything else ? So I stripped my bed and put all these clothes into the laundry which I have to go out to do, I don’t have machines at home. When I went to wash my hair I noticed by the amount of applications recommended the shampoo couldnt possibly be for lice ! So the new bedding I put down unnecessarily had to be washed today so I had to go to laundromat twice! I called this morning for the correct prescription to be sent to the pharmacy and the first woman I spoke to was very helpful and kind. The second woman at the actual office was incredibly rude, did not let me speak, told me she didn’t need to hear about my story, and YET, then asked me questions that I would’ve answered had she actually just let me speak! She couldn’t wait 3 min to let me finish talking to interject and rudely tell me she didn’t need to hear what I had to say??? Then she told me the only person who could change the prescription to one my insurance accepted was the doctor who saw me— you mean the same doctor who almost sent me out of his office misdiagnosed, infested with lice, under the belief it was dermatitis and i could’ve infected my entire immune compromised family! How come the second doctor was able to help me but now another doctor can’t look at my information, see that I was prescribed lice medicine and switch it to something my insurance accepts? Also I gave all my insurance info, im sure you see hundreds of medicaid patients, why would this doctor prescribe me something my insurance doesn’t cover? I have had this insurance for over a decade and I have NEVER had a doctor prescribe me something outside of my insurance when an option exists that my insurance covers. So then the rude lady continues to tell me there’s nothing she can do, until finally someone else takes the phone and offers me a coupon to get the one the doctor originally prescribed for $15. The reason I couldn’t wait on the doctor is my husband was going to work late to pick this medicine up for me so I’m not stuck an entire day with this infestation getting worse. I needed the prescription sent quickly so he could get it for me and bring it back before going to work. He goes to CVS and turns out the coupon is nonsense- I’m still expected to pay nearly $80 for one tube of lotion! My husband went to work and I was forced to wait for the doctor to be in and FINALLY prescribe the proper medicine. What a nightmare!
Dr. Jennifer made me feel very comfortable. She is so nice and "down to earth".

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
