My mother in law broke her L5 and went to one hospital and was released. We looked for a surgeon to help relieve the pressure on the spine. After 5 other doctors refused her, Dr. Grossman operated on her and she was able to go home rather than long term care. We very highly recommend Dr. Grossman as he is a kind wonderful person.

Dr. Seth Grossman not only has a great bedside manner but is a great surgeon! He is approachable and explains things thoroughly answering all your questions. In speaking for myself I was mortified of having back surgery. My issue was lower back L4,L5 and S1 and the pain running down my leg was so painful and debilitating! I was unable to workout and do simple tasks without the pain interfering. So knowing surgery was my only option to address the issue made me very nervous. However, after speaking with Dr. Grossman he put my mind at ease and made me feel comfortable in having the surgery. Immediately after the surgery I felt some relief. After a few weeks of recovery and PT I started feeling better. It has been 5 months since I had the surgery and I am pain free! I highly recommend Dr. Grossman! Thank you Dr. Grossman!

I stopped exercising, lost muscle mass and tone, and started to wonder if I'd ever feel like myself again. My situation was made more complicated by the fact that I have a major scoliosis in my lumbar spine. Dr. Grossman took the time to explain surgical options and made sure I was realistic about my expectations. He performed decompression surgery, and I had a great outcome – I went from suffering from chronic pain to being pain free, in one outpatient surgery. Dr. Grossman is one of the kindest, most compassionate MDs I've ever met. Not only did he make me feel cared FOR -- I felt cared ABOUT. The entire practice, and team, are wonderful. I'm extremely grateful to feel like my energetic, pain free self again. Thank you, Dr. Grossman, you are a gem.

My situation was made a bit more complicated by the fact that I have a pretty major scoliosis in my lumbar spine, but Dr. Grossman took the time to explain surgical options and made sure I was realistic about my expectations. Decompression surgery was decided upon, and Dr. Grossman hoped for a "home run" as far as pain relief for me. Well, I am thrilled to report that Dr. Grossman hit a "grand slam" as far as I'm concerned, because I went from a person suffering from chronic pain to someone who is pain free, in one outpatient surgery. Dr. Grossman is one of the kindest, most compassionate MDs I've ever met, and I am so glad he was my surgeon. Not only did he make me feel cared FOR -- I felt cared ABOUT. The entire practice, and team, are wonderful -- I don't think I was ever on hold for more than 10 seconds when I called to ask questions. The practice even does a video call with you about a week before your surgery so that you know what to expect, right down to telling you that the "holding room" is cold but they are happy to give you warm blankets (which I took them up on)! It feels wonderful to be back to normal, but I must say that I actually feel better than normal, because when you've experienced such debilitating pain, normal feels like bliss, and I realize I will never take being pain free for granted ever again. Thank you, Dr. Grossman, you are a gem.

Doctor Seth Grossman is a Godsend!!! He is one of the most caring doctors I have had the pleasure of having to work on me. His staff is no different and will go the extra distance to make sure all my questions & concerns are addressed. I came to Doctor Grossman after I had an unpleasant experience with another surgeon. I set-up an appointment with Dr. Grossman’s nurse and he was able to see me within a week. When I met with him, I explained that I had neuropathy & major back pain. After my visit my evaluation of Dr. Grossman was that he was very patient person who genuinely cares about his patients. He listened to my issues and reviewed my MRI which I had done on my back. He showed & explained to me on the MRI the reason for the back pain which was caused by a massive, herniated bulging disc which also compressed my peroneal nerve to my foot causing neuropathy. He explained to me that he can help with my back pain & he was hopefully that when he removes the herniation and cleans out all the scar tissue in my back that hopefully the nerve would decompress. Dr. Grossman provided me with excellent medical (surgery) care. Talk to me before & after the surgery. Five weeks later after surgery he continued to follow up with me providing care & wisdom & suggesting Physical Therapy for my neuropathy Bottom line, all I can say is thank you Dr. Grossman, so much, for your exceptional care & passion. Your “bedside manner” put me at ease and helped me gain confidence again. Because of you, I’m doing very well back to my walking 8-10 miles and more importantly riding my bike again with no back issues. Doctor Grossman is truly a remarkable surgeon and a professional that I so much respect & trust. Michael K.
