List of Yelena Chuzhin's Reviews
Will choose another doctor because of the rude administrative staff.
I have been seeing Dr. Chuzhin for several years and like her very much. However the method of booking an appointment for her and for a bone density scan is completely inefficient. Instead of checking with the x-ray department before scheduling the office appointment they simply made the appointment and had me call x-ray directly. When x-ray had nothing it meant calling the office back then calling x-ray back. This is all done by leaving messages and waiting for a call back. Very frustrating.
I have been a patient of dr. Chuzhin’s for many years. She is very knowledgeable, takes her time with you, and is caring. However, her office staff is just awful. They rarely return phone calls, don’t follow up with patients requests. I have been extremely frustrated and angry during these times. They need to do their jobs.
The communication with this office is terrible. The office is not well run. Call backs for appointments are not made for days even weeks even with repeated calls and messages to the office.
When I was diagnosed with Myositis I expected Dr. Chuzhin to help me. She didn't do anything or suggest treatment during office visits. My neurologist spoke with her also & he was ignored. By the time I reached Johns Hopkins I was literally weeks away from death & told that they had treated over 1000 patients with this disease & never saw a case of such neglect. This can be confirmed by Dr. Lisa Christopher-Stine at Hopkins.
I was slowly dying from Myositis & Dr. Chuzhin did absolutely NOTHING to help me. By the time I got to Johns Hopkins, I was told they never saw a case of such neglect out of over 1000 patients. Thankfully I am now in remission because of a fantastic Dr. at Hopkins
This doctor is good for osteoporosis but NOT for myositis, Although she claimed to have treated patients with this disease, her lack of care brought me close to death & massive destruction of my body.
So knowledgeable and kind!
Dr. Chuzin, She friendly, listen to you. explain in your way to you can understand. She make you feel that you can help in your treatment. She doesn't talk over you. She give you hope that you will feel better. She not a pill pusher. I like her as my doctor. She take time with you.
I highly recommend Dr. Chuzhin. She is a very pleasant and sweet woman who is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. She takes time to explain and answer questions (even if you ask over again), I had a little trouble with her accent at first but she does not mind repeating what she said if you have problem, After getting to know her it was easier for me to understand her without any problem whatsoever. She is a perfect choice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
