Dr. Matarese is simply the very best doctor you will ever find. He treated me for several decades in Manhattan and like his other patients I miss him terribly. As a pulmonologist and internist he could not have been more thorough and involved.I probably wouldn’t be breathing today if not for Dr. Matarese.

Dr. Matarese is excellent. He is very smart, has great advice, and is very experienced for an accurate diagnosis. Also a funny guy and a straight shooter. His office staff is just like him. Professional, personable and on point.

All my life i never had a doctor that I connected with, I always was looking for my "forever doctor". Well I found him in Dr. Mike. He takes his time, listens to what you have to say and answers all your questions. He makes you feel very comfortable. He is caring, funny and someone who you would hang out with a backyard BBQ. Love this guy! I recommended him to my friend and she loves him also.

Doctor Matarese is a very uncaring doctor. After seeing him for 15 years, I asked him if he could work with me on my bill that was submitted to me. He has raised his prices due to the Obama medical insurance that is in effect. He said he could not work with me, and that I should find another doctor. What kind of doctor is this???

THIS DOCTOR IS THE KIND OF DOCTOR THAT EVERY MED STUDENT SHOULD LOOK UP TO . HE HAS A GIFT OF TOTAL WISDOM AND KINDNESS.I HAVE REFERRED MANY PEOPLE TO HIM HE IS BY FAR FOUR STARS PLUS FOUR MORE BECAUSE HE CARES.

Dr. Matarese is my partner in controlling my chronic health problems -- may of them respiratory, leaving me final control, while taking strong point in a crisis. He is smart, caring, thorough, and fully committed to my continued good health. He also has a tremendous sense of humor and a connection with me I have found rare with most physicians. But he's intensely serious when needed. I consider him a vital member of my health team.
