Dr Soussan was the attending doctor at Monmouth medical when we came in. He was getting off his shift at the hospital when my daughter came in with a medical emergency. Instead of continuing with the shift change he extended his time and did the surgery himself. He explained the entire procedure to us before and after (even showing us pictures). He and his team went above and beyond to make us comfortable and get my daughter through a surprise medical procedure and offered his service for follow up in the next few weeks. He was wonderful to a very nervous, stressed family and we deeply appreciate skill and professionalism.

I used to work for him. He was always smiling, up beat, very personable;, funny. This is a true doctor and it shows how much he loves being an ObGyn

Best obgyn. I don’t understand why people are saying he has poor bedside manner. I think he actually has an amazing bed side manner. Takes feelings into consideration. I mean the guy has a psychology degree, and he deals with hormonal woman all day. I was pleasantly surprised how smart, attentive, and encouraging he is. He is also very thorough and you don’t feel like your questions aren’t answered. He calls back almost right away and never seems annoyed. I switched from a great obgyn to him and I actually like him better. Especially the office is much better as well. If you’re considering it make the switch!

very compassionate and great bedside manner

I did not find him empathetic at all! With any concern I expressed, he just laughed it off, saying, "That's just part of pregnancy." Part of being a doctor, especially when dealing with pregnant women, is the bedside manner. I am unimpressed

I Don’t understand the bad reviews below...? I have seen him for both OB and Gyn issues. Always super nice, gentle and very helpful. Called me personally with test results and was open to hearing my opinion on treatment options and took it into consideration. Always responsive when you send emails. Was knowledgeable and solved an issue I had post-delivery with one visit. I would definitely recommend him!!

Dr. Soussan was rude, curt, uncaring, and downright mean. Besides that he made the wrong decision about my medical care, which caused me to hemmorage badly and need a D&C. I strongly don't recommend.

Dr. Soussan acted like a know it all dr but in reality he was very wrong about the information he gave me. He told me I would have to get a c-section but when I went to another dr he told me I didn’t have to one. In the end I had a baby boy naturally!
