First-time visitors, Dr. Hartman was very professional and thorough in examining shingles in the eye. He made us a priority in making a fast appointment and we will definitely make him our primary eye doctor. The facility and equipment were super clean and comfortable as well. I've been a happy patient of Dr. Hartman for over ten years. His office is conveniently located just off Rt 38 on the corner of Madison Av and Lexington Av. Can not miss his location. On site parking. I have never had a problem with parking. Doc is a very soft spoken easy going professional guy who makes you feel comfortable. He explains what he is doing step by step. Visits are always quick no waiting because the doc is busy with another patient in the waiting room or in the examination room. If you want comfortable, professional, individual care, give Dr. Hartman a call and schedule an appointment.

This doctor don't like to be questioning about a bill, I ask a few questions about my bill he got so mad, told me not to paid the bill and to never comeback there, that show his profesionalismo .. I won't recommend this place at all..

Dr. Hartman is incredibly kind, professional and timely . He took my call on a Sunday at 7pm. Not many (if any) doctors are this accessible. I tell my friends and family to see him if they need an eye doc.

This was my second visit with Dr. Hartman. He is very thorough and explains everything during the exam. I wish I had gone to him sooner. I feel very confident with his exams. Dr. Hartman has a large selection of frames also.

How many good things can I say about Dr. Hartman? He is one of the most patient, understanding people I have ever met. He walks you through what he's doing so calmly even in rough situations. He is always available to answer questions on the phone or in person. He goes out of his way no matter what to make sure you get the care you need. He is very thorough in his work and as reliable as it gets. I thought I went to good eye doctors before, they don't even compare to Dr. Hartman. If you are looking for a place for an eye exam, or a medical issue, he's the man you need to see.

This was my mother-in-law's first eye doctor visit in over a decade. She recently had a stroke and has trouble communicating and understanding questions. Dr. Hartman was so patient and kind. I really appreciate him doing everything he could to make her feel at ease and give a thorough exam. Highly recommend!

I recently experienced some issues with my eyes and had several visits at popular large practice in the South Jersey Area. Feeling underserved and dissatisfied that my issues were unresolved, I scheduled an appointment with Dr Hartman. His thoroughness, patience along with his explanations resulted in his identification of the issue. I recommend Dr Hartman without hesitation.

Dr. Hartman was professional, thorough and on point! Not sure if it’s a result of COVID or if he is just THAT good but he handled front office, examination, eyewear selection and check out all by himself. He’s tech savvy, punctual and has a charm that made me slightly more comfortable with having something touch my eyeball. ;) He talks you through each step and makes you comfortable with what comes next. His clinic was clean, sterilized and he took extra precautions to ensure my safety during the visit. Highly recommend!

Great place. Got my first pair of glasses there last month, and today had metal shard embedded in my eye. Doctor got me in right away and process took 5 minutes.
