I went to this doctor when I was in 7th grade. I was 12 years old at the time, and this woman had the audacity to body shame me. When I sat down, she pointed to my stomach rolls and recommended that I do crunches to “get rid of that.” This happened years ago but I wanted to address it today just to be petty.

She is not a bad doctor but, I wouldn't consider her a good doctor either. She is the type that just tells you to suck it up. And does not look at the detail of the patience's case. I have a hard time trusting a doctor like that. Because, when the doctor doesn't pay a close attention...things can go wrong. I am not the only person that had an experience with this doctor and she dismissed other patients concerns too and didn't go in further explanation. That is NOT okay.

This dr began seeing my daughter. She was 3 weeks old and we switched to her for convenience (close to where we lived). She took her off of the acid reflux meds that our original dr prescribed to her and helped her alot. Since then, there have been 2 visits to the ER, one caused when the baby began to choke and stopped breathing. Immediately called our old dr and went to the ER. They told us that the reflux is a problem and did not understand why she was taken off of her meds. Dr also does not call you back right away. In an emergency...will take 6-7 hours to get back to you. No answering service, just a cell phone that does not get answered. DONE WITH THIS DOCTOR!!!!!

Getting an appointment was easy as she was on-call filling in for my regular pediatrician. Getting to the office was a bit difficult as the sign is nearly invisible and the office is a residence turned doctors office.Through the front door the living room is a small make shift waiting room. Kind of clottered.Receptionist is VERY NICE.(They do now accept credit cards so bring check or cash.) Once in the exam room Dr. Wahba was thorough. Checked my boy out from head to toe. Asked many questions and gave a clear explanation of her findings in a simple to understand way.Didn't rush me out at that point, instead asked my son and I to join her in the her office. We discuss further treatment options. Reconfirming her diagnoses.This experience was a great example of not judging a book by its cover. The office doesn't have to be nice to get a nice doctor.
