List of Arthelma Tyson's Reviews
My name is Dr. P. Cooper, patient and AtlantiCare Healthy Schools Healthy Children Partner. Due to recent vascular concerns, I saw Dr. A Tyso and received a script for three tests to be completed. One test, a CAT w/wo dye caused me to miss a days work due to the Door having written the orders for the procedure incorrectly and the AMI facility had to cancel my procedure and sent me back to the Dr. Tyson for a corrected script. When going back to Dr. Tyson's office for the second procedure (an office ultrasound), I arrived early and told to sit in the waiting room that they will come for me. My appointment time passed about an hour and as I paced, I again asked the receptionist how long will it be before they call me sine I'e been there about an hour waiting. The receptionist looked into the computer and told me that the Doctor just cancelled my appointment and listed me as a o Show - when in fact, I was sitting right outside her door, the doctor came into the waiting room three times to speak to another patient, looked at me and went back inside without saying anything. The receptionist spoke with the technician to do the ultrasound test despite the doctor having listed me as a No Show. I had a scheduled return Doctor's appointment with Vascular Doctor Arthelma Tyson of AtlantiCare Egg Harbor Township, NJ Friday, August 14, 2020 at 3:40 pm. I always arrive no less than 15 minutes early but arrived 30 minutes early and was prepared to wait for my appointed time. When called back to see the Doctor, I was placed into a room to wait another 15-20 minutes before an assistant came into the room and announced that the Doctor was busy and the assistant would go over the test result reports in my file. I preferred to wait for the Doctor. Again the assistant came back stating the Doctor was still busy and she was asked to handle the over-load ( I became an over-load who had an appointment). I again stated having an appointment to see the Dr and will wait just to be told that Dr. Tyson was now on the phone and unable to see me. I asked if the doctor did not want me as a patient? Why does she refuse to see me to follow up on the scheduled appointment to go over my various test result and to discuss further treatment options that she ordered. I asked my insurance, Horizon not process any bills submitted for services not rendered to me 8/14/20. I was forced to leave the office of Dr Tyson without having seen the doctor. The assistant wanted to schedule me back to have another test conducted - I asked WHY when the doctor would not review the current test results with me because she is busy and I am an over-load. However, my Insurance paid her $247.00 for the previous appointment. this doctor should not be allowed to disrespect anyone, disrespect any senior, ignore any patient seeking professional treatment and competent service. The Arthelma Tyson staff do not practice customer service with respect. The aide stated that since COID the Doctor has been having problems fining people to work in her office. I tol the aide that I understand why anyone would want to work with a dotor that does not practice competent customer an patient service.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
