Best pediatrician ever!

I am so happy with the service he provided. My son has a birth mark in a private place but he recommended us to a demonologist as soon as he noticed it looked different during his physical.. I'm still trying to get him in but they are following up on his care as needed

Dr Trogan is a excellent doctor. My kids love him.

We went for an annual check visit for my teen daughter. Doctor Trogan made not nice remarks about her beauty marks. My daughter left the office very upset and insecure. He treated us as not to provide service if my daughter will get sick as I refused the varicella booster. I would like to mention that my daughter is up to date with all the K -12 NJ vaccination requirements . Also, he took my daughter‘s blood pressure which already was high because of the atmosphere he just created , and requested her school to keep track on her for one week. My daughter is a healthy competitive swimmer and we don’t have high blood pressure running in family. I am just wondering about this doctor ethical practice.

Great business. Bad physician. Has no idea about Developmental Pediatrics . Stay away from him.

I have been going to Ivy Pediatrics for over 15 with my three boys seeing Dr. Trogan when he was first at Kilmer in Marlboro and then at Bridge Plaza in Manalapan. He always was very thorough, patient and willing to answer all of your questions. I knew most of the staff and felt comfortable knowing my children were in good hands with everyone there. But for the past several years, I have seen a big decline in the service coming from his office in Manalapan. Over time we were never seeing the same staff, it was difficult to get an appointment with Dr. Trogan so we we always saw different drs. and the professionalism went downward. As my boys became older, the manner in which their health concerns were handled was in a flippant or dismissive manner especially when they went alone without an adult for a health concern once they turned 18. After this year I will not be using their services ever again. I was very disappointed with the unprofessional way their exams were handled by the staff and Dr. Dever at Ivy Pediatrics for their annual physicals this year. Being that they were all past 18, they all went without me. Big mistake!! First they were all crammed into one examination room. (mind you this was with Covid still on high alert). Then they were rushed thru their preliminary examinations with the staff and still all remained in the same examination room while Dr. Dever briskly examined each one giving very little privacy. After the examination, he told one of my boys they were due for a tetanus shot but they had to go to a pharmacy to have it done. Furthermore, the doctor was so dismissive that my older son had to ask him to please wait because he had some concerns he wanted to discuss with him. After their exams no one gave them the scripts they needed to do their annual blood work. Thankfully my youngest son knew enough to ask about it. While they were waiting one of the nurses asked if everything was OK and my boys told her they were waiting for the scripts for blood work and a tetanus shot. She asked them who said they needed to go elsewhere for a tetanus shot when they do it at the office. They told her it was the Dr. and then she just rolled her eyes saying they can do it for them now. When I was told by my sons of their experience, I was very upset and became even further upset when I saw their scripts for blood work were not for a complete study with a metabolic panel for electrolytes, glucose, cholesterol or urine analysis!! I was livid. I had to call back again to ask for new scripts and demanded to speak to the office manager. Of course I was placated to no end and knew my concerns were not going to make a difference. Then the results came back for their blood work. In the past, I was always given them over the phone, able to ask questions and not be charged anything. This time receptionist at the office insisted on scheduling a telemed appointment with each of them to discuss their test results. But due to the office's negligence, it was NEVER mentioned it would be a charged service!! After they had their virtual appointments completed we got a phone call 10 minutes later asking for payment by credit card!! I was astonished and asked why payment was never mentioned. The response was the girl who made the appointment was new and didn't know to tell us. It was like they were trying to get another appointment charge out of us. I told them I'd rather pay in person and I would be there the next day. In the meantime, I called my insurance to find out if it was ethical for them to have charged us for a virtual appointment to discuss test results. I was told they shouldn't be doing that since due to Covid there was an exception and virtual appointments do not require a co-pay. I called back Ivy Ped and told them my insurance informed me I do not have to pay them. Their billing manager called back. Once again I was placated to no end and told since my family has been such faithful patients for so many years it can all be swept under the rug with no worries. I just felt so tired with their BS and I just wanted to get off the phone. I feel Ivy Pediatrics has now become more focused on trying to make as much money as they can by implementing new protocols to charge their patients with. They are not the caring, professional practice I used to feel confident to go to or recommend for others. Maybe they are all professional for their younger patients who are accompanied by a parent and know they have to keep appearances, but for older children there lacks much attention to their medical concerns.

when I had appointment of my son for vaccinations I visited there 6 times since my son was 3 weeks I thought It was good pediatric office then my son is first one year I met another doctor igor trogan one time I haven't idea of switch doctors different I don't like switch doctors different they had good and bad things says me about my son, so I was confused and concerned because Dr. Trogan ever know well about my son's health and either he ever check well my son's clinic history from NICU ???????????????, he scared me about my son's issues health... I think he is an discrimination with my son he didn't respect my son. I was very worried about if my son has issues health I didn't sleep well 4 days I didn't eat 4 days I talked with my husband about it, my husband got sick and tired of switching doctors he got furious and said me dr igor trogan is manipulative with my baby. My husband and I found another new pediatric doctor in another place.

We have been taking my 11 year old granddaughter to Dr Trogan since she was 2 months old. The office staff always treats her so nice. Dr Trogan and all of the other providers on staff are knowledgeable and we can always get in quickly when needed.

They have a feature called "easy pay" which you need to sign up on arrival so that they can easily bill you any payments without your notice. I just noticed a charge on my credit card when I called I was told that I signed an easy pay document when I used their services. Never seen this practice anywhere.
