I had to do two MRI breast biopsies and the staff was amazing. The nurses and the doctor told me everything in details what they were doing and the procedure didn’t take that much time as I was thinking. I found in them professionalism and the human part of calming the patient. Expect the little anxiety that I had from the MRI everything went very well and now it is the most important part the biopsy result. Finger crossed for the result.

I was a bit confused at my appointment. I was told Dr. McManus was doing the procedure. I have found him calming, easy to understand his instructions, and felt at ease. Instead, the day I arrived, I had Dr. Ibrahim. Unfortunately, while she is a very good doctor, I found her to be cold with no bedside manner at all. I was very nervous as I am disabled. A special thanks you to Eva, the nurse, who calmed my nerves, explained everything well, and got me through this procedure. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. I was told that I was having a biopsy underneath my left breast. When I arrived, the doctor performed the procedure close to my armpit on top. I was totally confused. It is difficult to do this disabled and on my own, but when you have things thrown at you that were not set up that way, it makes it more difficult. I don’t like surprises. I’ve been coming to AMI for over 30 years. Never encountered a problem before.

Dr. Ibrahim was very professional, but also personable. She explained the procedure and during the procedure continued to tell me what she was doing, she also asked if I was okay and let me know that if I felt any pain, she could give me more medication. She also answered all my questions, she was very reassuring.
