I had the pleasure of rotating with Dr. Sportelli during my fourth year of medical school. He is one of the most compassionate, empathetic, and knowledgable physicians and provides the highest level of care for his patients in a variety of settings while going above and beyond to guide them towards sustained healing. Through a blend of therapeutic approaches and most up to date medications, he makes sure all of his patients' needs are met. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a caring, mindful psychiatrist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sportelli for approximately three years. After searching far and wide, I finally found a doctor with compassion, willing to listen and come up with a solution. If that solution does not work, there is always another one around the corner. I have to say, I almost gave up prior to seeing Dr. Sportelli. There is not enough I can say. I highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking a real doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Sportelli for years and I would recommend him to anyone who needs help. He is caring and takes his time listening to you. He’s always up to date on medications and always seems to have the solution to any mental illness related problem. He responds quickly and is easy to reach. He is completely non-judgmental which makes me feel comfortable to say anything I want. I truly believe he is one of the best doctors in the field. Highly recommended!

I had a extremely detrimental experience dealing with Dr. Sportelli. He showed no interest in my well-being only his own image. He came off as a hot shot, condescending, passive-aggressive egomaniac. He is very articulate, with his calm passive aggressive manner which is uncalming to me. He literally walked away from me while I was trying to understand what was going on with me.
