I kept putting off my knee replacement surgery for several years, if I knew the care I would receive from Rothman and Dr Purtill, I would have done it a long time ago. Dr Purtill was friendly, interested and took as much time as was needed to explain the proceedure, start to finish. His demeanor truly shows that he cares for his patients. The Rothman Orthopedic Specialty Center in Bensalem is a first class operation staffed by warm caring and knowledgeable staff. They worked tirelessly to ensure I was in as little pain as possible and that my stay with them was the best it could be. Dr Purtill and his Staff at the Marlton Office went above and beyond to get me back on my feet in a safe and expediate manner. I know several people who are considering total knee replacement surgery. My first and only recommendation to them: Rothman Orthopedic and Dr Purtill

Dr Purtill did an excellent job with my bilateral knee replacement. However, my post surgical care was extremely disappointing. Dr Purtill does not support post surgical pain management or physical therapy. Anyone considering his services should be aware of this.

I have used Dr Purtill for both of my Hip Replacement’s. He is beyond wonderful as a Dr. I have recommended him to at least 6 of my friends. They all have used him and Loved his abilities as a surgeon. Thank you Dr. Purtill

Terrific surgeon, great person, empathetic, who explains everything and puts one at ease prior to and after surgery. I got my life back with a new knee!!

Dr. Purtill is great! He did both of my hip replacements, right one was 7 years ago & the left one was in August. Recovery from the August surgery was even better than the first one. A friend of mine has also used Dr. Purtill with equally good results.
