Dr. Salvo is a skilled surgeon. I had a very quick recovery from my procedure. I would recommend him.

Dr. Salvo operated on my hip in mid September to correct femoroacetabular impingement and a complex labral tear. I had absolutely no post-operative pain and was back to my daily routine in less than a week (with crutches of course). Every follow-up visit I've had at Rothman has been quick and easy. Dr. Salvo is always professional, thorough and reassuring. I cannot recommend him and his team enough!

Doc Salvo is the best! He always treats me like he's known me for years! I can't wait for my next injury so I can go see him again!

Dr. Salvo is the best of the best! You can not be in better hands. Additionally, he explains everything he finds and also explains all your options for treatment. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Been a patient of Dr Salvo since 2011. Had 2 hip surgeries and had amazing results. Suddenly I can’t see him due to New protocol. Had to see an orthopedic first. I did but my tear got worse due To their delay. Have a cane and major pain . Have to have surgery but still can’t see him. His PA booked until September. Rothman urgent care said I should be seen in 5 to 7 days. And here I am going to someone else. Unreal

Had 2 surgeries and multiple visits since 2011 for my left and right hips with excellent results. Since my hip began acting up in May of 22, I have never been treated so awful. Had my appointment canceled with Salvo in May because of his new protocol. Spent months being sent in circles and after a bad social media review I suddenly got attention. Saw Salvo yesterday and he was very rude and arrogant . I asked if he knew about my problem getting to see him and he said he was aware. He doesn’t see people with my condition over 50!!!! ????? Ummm what? That’s his actual words. So thats an eye opener. I was 50 in 2015 when i had surgery and 54 when he diagnosed my tendon tear in 2019. Nice to know he cares about his patients. So after 4 months of awful treatment I am moving on. I saw 2 Rothman orthos besides Salvo and spent countless hours on phone trying to get help. I have had 3 different opinions from them and am now using a cane. Have to go somewhere else

Dr Salvo is a great professional. He’s patient, takes his time to explain, has great bedsides manners. My physical therapist thinks the world of him as a surgeon, so I know I’m in good hands. His office is a well oiled machine, I’ve never been to a dr appt where I had to have an X-ray taken, see a dr and be done in less than 30 minutes. 5 stars all the way. EDIT: I’ve now finished my surgical treatment of my right hip with dr Salvo. I still say 5 stars all the way. Starting with my pre OP appointments (I had Covid and couldn’t go in to get fitted for my brace, his PA Mr Fleishman brought it for me to surgery), his staff’s ability to helps me with disability, his bedside manners….. if you have an injury that needs an excellent ortho, dr Salvo is your man! Oh, and he fixed my hip! Still 2 more months of PT, but I’m at about 80% better!

Dr. Salvo got right to the problem. Quick simple surgery went very well. No pain. No swelling. I was very satisfied and would highly recommend Dr. Salvo.

Dr. Salvo is a highly experienced and recommended surgeon. Just the short time we spent with him made me know I made the right choice in doctors.
