Dr. Matzon performed a Carpal Tunnel and Trigger finger release on my right hand. Leading up to surgery, I really appreciated the way he spoke to me and explained everything from my first appointment to the last follow up. I am very happy with how I'm recovering and not to mention, his OR team at Jefferson surgical center was incredible. The OR nurse stood by my side throughout the entire procedure (which was quick and painless) and made sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Rothman and Dr. Matzon

4th visit over couple of years receiving consult and steroid shots. Easy to talk to and explains clearly. He listens and gauged well what was best next step for me. Surgery is scheduled and I’m actually looking forwards to it. I always feel heard.

I recently saw Dr. Matzon for carpal tunnel syndrome. He took time to exam my hand and look over my recent test for carpal tunnel. He recommended endoscopic surgery as the best course of action. Dr. Matzon fully explained the surgery procedure to me, what to expect in terms of recovery. He then set in motion the scheduling of for my surgery date. He is very friendly, competent and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend him to anyone with a medical issue involving the hand.

The New Jefferson Hospital Outpatient Surgery Section in Cherry Hill looks Superb! All the people that I’ve encountered there were so caring and knowledgeable especially my Hand Surgeon, Dr Jonas Matzon.

Dr. Matzon performed PRC on my right wrist. He is very easy to talk to and goes to great lengths to explain things in depth and provides exceptional, caring follow-up care.

Dr. Matzon patiently explained the xrays detailing the extent of the break. Although not serious he did explain why it would be better for me to have a cast instead of a brace. He didn’t force but he explain with compassion that for my best recovery a cast would be best option. He answered all my question to make feel comfortable with the cast. Yes cast is not comfortable but I’m glad I listened to Dr.Matzon because I know the wrist I healing as it should
