Couldn’t believe I broke a finger, the tip of my ring finger, after a fall in the street. Dr Rivlin had been consulted while I hung out in the ED. After being discharged I made an appointment at Rothman, and saw Dr Rivlin within a few days. He was extremely patient with me, explained to me the damage of my ring finger, and need for his expertise to repair it. Wasn’t anticipating surgery, which was last thing I wanted to hear, but felt comfortable enough to consent to it. Surgery was scheduled, and Dr Rivlin proceeded to fix the fracture and nail bed. Had physical therapy for a month, and had the splint replaced twice because it kept leaving me. I saw the progress of healing every visit, and never felt uncomfortable. While my life was a trip, I knew my finger was being taken care of by an outstanding surgeon and an awesome staff. I felt safe, knew if there was a problem I could always call-and I did a lot-and deeply appreciated the concern I received, as a valued patient. Last week I went for what became my last visit. I highly recommend Dr Rivlin and Rothman, as everything ran smoothly despite my tendency to be a nightmare, not by choice.
